New week, yay!
Finally started playing Dawn of War. I got the whole package over Steam (DoW and three expansions) a while ago, but never got around to play it beyond the demo. It's kind of hard to try to get into complex gameplay again after being away from RTS games for so long. Everything seems imposing, the interface, tech trees, coming to grips with a different way of handling resources, micromanaging, multitasking. I'm still working my way through the shortcut commands, have 6 missions under my belt in about 5-6 hours and feel like I'm struggling at every turn, but thoroughly enjoying every step of the way. Voice acting is ace, and plot is filled with treachery and double-crossing.
If I get too cocky after getting back in the groove with this game, I might delve a bit deeper through the rabbit hole. Maybe Civ IV (which I have to get soon), Anno 1701, or even Europa Universalis III. Console gaming has gotten the best of me, but I'll do my best to be a man again.
Other than that, I'm playing Shadow of the Colossus. I'm on the 10th beast, and so far all that mumbo-jumbo about the breakthrough (when it was released) experience in narrative that this game allegedly offers hasn't really reached me...perhaps because the game is nothing more than a series of huge walking environmental puzzles. It's fun to try and solve them out, though, so I'll keep going at it, but the camera is hideous. Then again, I didn't find Ico all that hot either, because my princess was mentally deficient.
Yeah, they must have unleashed some new modlings. I got modded for asing why Kane wasn't included in the all-time greatest heroes comp. You doctored that image right? Those topics weren't locked right?

Yeah, it is probably a 360/PS3 game. If it was an Wii ecxlusive GI would not care and it would be in Nintendo Power.

CVG say they have some details on Warren Spector's Disney game.
According to their sources, the game is indeed a Wii exclusive, and you will "paint your way through levels using the Wii Remote", doing things like drawing and erasing "whole parts of levels".
It'll be based around a story where Disney's lesser, forgotten characters rise up against Mickey, which would explain the emphasis on hot military action seen in the game's concept art.
Bear in mind we've yet to receive any kind of word on this game from Disney, so you may want to take it with a pinch of salt. Well, this info, at any rate; we're pretty sure the art is for real.If it's a Gameinformer exclusive it has to be.
Please dont be a PS3 exclusive though. I want to play it.

If it is a 360/PS3 exclusive, don't expect painting stuff like you would see in Max and the Magic Marker!
I dont really expect it but I would be sad if they had to change the gameplay they were going for just to get the presentation they want.

They were talking about this on the PlayerOnePodcast ealier today. Phil Theobald was saying some very nice things about it -- that the writing was very humorous and the gameplay varied.
Cannot be bothered to do more updates at the moment. Bethesda are sueing Interplay over Fallout MMO BTW.
So Wii is the only option that would let everyone here play it but Darth? OWNAGE.
I dont want to get this game, I couldn't complete Partners in time because of the Bomb Boss and I felt it was getting more and more fiddly, controlling 4 characters etc. But IGN gave it a 9.5.
