A storm brewing?
Holland's largest specialised retail outlet, Nedgame, has decided not to sell the PSPgo this October. And, the shop explained to Eurogamer Holland, there are a handful of reasons why.
The hefty price-tag of €249.99 being one of them. That's €80 more than the PSP-3000 costs, a difference Nedgame believes the new handheld does not justify - the smaller screen is picked out as an example.
A more telling reason is the lack of a UMD drive. That means Nedgame cannot sell games for the PSPgo, which is where retailers make the most profit. And, as downloadable games will be tied to PSN accounts, trading and swapping will fast become a thing of the past.
Nedgame also mentioned its discomfort at Sony creating a monopoly on the software sold on PSPgo.
Eurogamer Holland goes on to point out that Nedgame are not the only Dutch outlet to boycott Sony's new handheld.
Eurogamer Spain has also heard rumblings that retailers there may do the same
Love the Blue Dragon style
Yay! Bubble Bobble Neo came out today on XBLA. Finally. Man I loved this game in the past and still totally love it today. Now I just need to get some more points to buy it.
Yeah its junky. I'm surprised you haven't got NyxQuest yet, the reviews all say that if you like Lost Winds you'll like it.
I've been thinking about it, but I've got a couple DS games and a couple Wii games to finish first. Until then, there's really no point in buying another game that I don't have time to finish.
I have tried so many times to get into that game I never could. I played the original on NES, I picked up the GBA version, and I've messed around with a few others. I just can't figure out the appeal for the life of me. I want to, but I can't figure it out. It feels like I'm missing something huge.
Fucking rain, it's ruining my vacation
And where the PC news?
That's your dept. And since Punk has royally F-ed off there is no point anyway

Now why can't they make a real Resident Evil game for the Wii with these graphics? Hell I prefer these graphics to RE5.....this actually looks like RE and not Dawn of the Dead: Rambo Edition.
Peter Moore (and Wii Sports) killed it. He more or less said just that in an interview shortly after he moved to EA:
“We’ll still do traditional sports, but we’re going to do them a different way. Street is a good example. We built a new Freestyle brand to do different things, and we also need to build our own intellectual properties. We rely on other people’s IP for everything we do and we need to develop some new things."
“In the old days we had things like SSX that were our own intellectual property, but since then we’ve kind of moved away from that. We need a mixture of experiences that are not only for the hardcore, ‘it’s in the game’ crowd. If Wii Sports has taught us anything, it’s that people will sit there and play big head tennis all day long. We need to have something for that sports fan who might not necessarily be a sports gamer, but who wants that 15-minute experience without having to struggle on how to use the controller.”

I loved the series, and really, really hope they bring it back soon.
Cause they are lazy. They might eventually make one but I really doubt it. Dawn of the Dead Rambo Edition sounds pretty cool though.
Nintendo is extending a hand to helpful Europeans with a new "Connection Ambassador" program. CVG reports that the rewards start in October, and encourage Wii users to help get family and friends connected. It sounds altruistic, but Nintendo is incentivizing in a big way. For every Wii owner they help, the "ambassador" and the person helped both get 500 Wii Points. Connecting a total of 10 people grants "Connection Master Gold" status, which allows the ambassador to download all Nintendo first-party NES games on Virtual Console. Connecting 20 people makes one a "Connection Master Platinum," which includes all first-party and third-party NES, SNES, and N64 games on Virtual Console. As if that weren't enough, the points continue to stack for every new connection, so if an ambassador hits the limit of 20 people helped, they'll have 10,000 Wii Points to spend.
Unfortunately, this program seems entirely for Europe, at least for right now, as Nintendo hasn't announced anything resembling it in the U.S. But you never know; with time and fan interest, they might be persuaded to bring it over to us. After all, it worked for Club Nintendo.
By the way, I know a lot of people are getting interested in Shantae but I got to tell you the DSi already has it's killer app and it's actually free. Flipnote Studio.
It's a simple animation program that is amazingly addictive. Very simple to use and just a lot of fun. Plus once you're done you can upload and share with.... everyone in the world I guess. It's pretty scary just how good people have gotten with this thing already though. Someone did a video of Brak from Space Ghost Coast to Coast singing about the DSi and it's pretty damn funny.
So if you were debating a DSi and needed a little something extra to push you over to getting it, here it is. And once again, totally free.
