I have to say that I think backwards compatibility factors in heavily for me. If PS3 could play every PS2 game out of the box it would be doubly better for me. Wii being able to play every GC game is a massive factor in my rankings, as well as the ability to download classic games from the SNES and Genesis etc.
Yeah I know it's a cheat, if you will, but hey if it can play more games it has a bigger library to me.
