Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Wii!! Fantastic! We're now a step closer to getting a legit Pokemon MMORPG.
Oh and Henry Hatsworth?? Outstanding game. Little simple, but it's a sound platformer and puzzler with quality characters that really raise the game up a notch higher than it would have been with a more generic or annoying character. . . like Sonic.
Not as grim as Microsoft reaming L4D users by releasing Crash Course 360 for 560 points, whilst the superior PC version gets that very same content for free. I want a gaming PC. :'(
I just picked up Infinite Undiscovery today. I saw it selling for $20 new and just couldn't resist it at that price. That's in Canadian funds btw. I know it didn't do all that well with reviewers but it can't be that bad that it isn't worth a mere $20. Right?

I envy your robust and girthy... 360 JRPG collection. It makes me jealous. I still want to pick up IU, TLR and SO4.

Yeah I love my JRPG's and while some haven't fared as well this gen with most reviewers I have been enjoying them quite nicely, especially when you can get them on the cheap. The Last Remnant and Infinite Undiscovery being two recent ones. Warning on TLR though, while I'm really enjoying it it is a pretty challenging game which can be a little convoluted and a tough game to grasp on some of it's inner workings. It's semi-random battle engine can frustrate at times.

the one jrpg i wish was not 360 exclusive so i could play it sometime is Lost Odyssey
Here's a question for people who are in Club Nintendo. You think the American Club will update their reward offerings? I'll be getting my 800th point later this week once I do a final post-game survey. That puts me in line for the top-level reward, the Game & Watch Collection for the DS. It was kind of appealing when I first signed up, but frankly I'm not real interested in this now. . . or anything else they're offering.
So now I'm debating what the hell to do with the 800 points.
Well, I got Avalon Code. I found it for cheap at Frys for $24. So I thought I give it a try.
Leo, I'll keep your warning for this game in mind. I read some reviews and they all say the same things. But some liked it and liked the overall game while some said it just killed it for them.
I hope I'm one of the group who can tolerate it.
Anyway, more DS RPGs the better! Time to get some more! I'm addicted!
Oh, I guarantee you're gonna love it for a while; I wrote some blogs/topics here gushing about it.
As you get more and more into it, and meet more and more people --AND-- your inventory grows and grows --THAT'S-- were things get sketchy and the problems start to become insurmountable.

did you play both of the dragon quest remakes? if so which do you recommend playing first?

Yes, I played both. Playing through DQV right now.
DQV is overall the better game. It's deeper, easier to get into, has a better story, and the game just feels more polished. I'm still playing it and loving it.
DQIV is great too, but I did get stuck at this one part where the boss was so strong I had to grind for hours just to beat him. I guess most DQ games do things like this.
It really doesn't matter which one you start with. They're like FF games. Each one is its own game. The only difference is that DQIV is cheaper at $30 while DQV is still $40. Those are the prices in the US.
But like I said, DQV is the better game. But you can't go wrong with either one.
Have any of you guys played Dragon Quest Swords? Is it any good?
I never played a DQ game before. I usually dislike RPGs, but this one looks interesting. It reminds me of Shining of the Holy Arkon Sega Saturn, which I enjoyed. IGN says DQ Swords is "the Wii Sports version of what an RPG would be," and that sounds like my kind of RPG!
Now that you have played with Wii Motion Plus, you would ABSOLUTELY NOT be able to endure DQS.
I L-O-V-E all the Dragon Quest games and really, really wanted to like Swords, but the motion controls are totally NOT responsive enough for this game to work properly.
You'll see the potential but be infuriated by the game being held back by it NOT having Plus control.
These games are absolutely huge in Japan, so it is just a matter of time before there is a Motion Plus version, but I doubt we'll ever see it here due to the non-existent sales of the first one.
WTF? Do we have two Igas or two rodents? Either possibility is decidedly grim.
Yeah I'm very amped for Shadow Complex. Also TMNT Re-shelled comes out tomorrow on XBLA. Woo hoo!
I hope my XB returns by then.
Hush you! >: (

One doc said: "You've got a bad cold."
After my temp shot up 3 degrees in an hour or two and going to the 2nd: "You've got an upper respiratory infection --AND-- a throat infection."
I guess the first doc just missed those two minor points...
How the heck did I get a throat infec...?!
STEEL ! ! ! HOW MANY TIMES DO I HAVE TO TELL YOU TO WASH IT BEFORE COMING OVER MY APARTMENT ! ! ! JEEEEEZZZZZ ! ! !
