"...no, the final product may not have warranted the impossible hype, but the Conduit is a very high-quality shooter that’s not to be missed by any self-respecting action gamer."

Never played Terranigma, as I was never a big importer back in the day, but I have heard it is legendary and hold hope to this day it may be ported to VC eventually.
Soul Blazer I did play, but it was a zillion years ago. It has Zelda like action in a top-down perspective. You would rescue souls from dungeons and towns would rebuild as you did. I remember some of the puzzles being quite difficult (not as hard as Brain Lord though)...
It was made by the same team as ActRaiser. Which was odd 'cause all the details Actraiser had, this one lacks. It was still a pretty vivid game but being the top down perspective couldn't give you the same kind of detail as 2D side-scrolling, if that makes sense. This game came out after Actraiser 1 and 2 if I remember correctly. I do remember being enthralled by it and finishing it.

God I love Act Raiser. Should get back into it.
So what have y'all been playing?
I've been playing by far the best Final Fantasy game ever..
Final Fantasy VI!
God I love this game. Music is sensational, each character is awesome to use, and battling is super fun. MUCH better than VII & VIII.
Otherwise, not much else. Bits of Trackmania Nations Forever (free and unbelievably awesome) and that's it.
Now, we're doing a podcast this week. Leo, are you able to join us? We want you in!
My lastest blog entry has all the details on what I've been playing.
Why is it when anyone mentions Duck Tales, that theme song immediately starts playing in my head? And it . . . doesn't . . . stop!

Listen to Wu-Tang and watch Kung-Fu
Been mostly playing MadWorld, No More Heroes and a little bit of Bully. You can see more in my thread of playing 7 games at once.
It feels good to be playing new games again!
Well MS customer service is so great and once again shows how awesome they are.
So the woman on the phone said she was sending shipping labels in the post. She didn't happen to mention that UPS would be arriving on the same day with said labels to pick said machine up.
And of course, I wasn't in.
So I have some labels with a German address on it, yeah its being shipped to Deutshland. At some point, once I find myself a box.
I've been playing with a lovely blonde woman. And in my spare time, I've been playing bits of GTA4: Lost and Damned, Tomb Raider Anniversary( 360 version), Infamous, and Valkyria Chronicles.
Not sure if I wanna spend $50 on Conduit....it seems very love it or hate it. There's a bunch of Wii games that I want but don't want to spend much on. Madworld also, and Boom Blox 2. I'd also like to pick up the Wii version of Resident Evil. Same way with some games coming on the other systems like Transformers, UFC, Ghostbusters and more.
Its too bad companies don't take more chances selling some games at reduced prices; I think it would help them sell better.
Don't put good games like Madworld and Boom Blox 2 together with Transformers and Ghostbusters Edge.
Seriously, why are hardcore gamers reluctant to buy Madworld?
Madworld just doesn't really strike me as MUST PLAY for some reason. Part of it is probably the art style....as much as I respect that it has a unique look, at the same time I just don't really like the look that much. Gameplay-wise it looks like I may get bored of it.
I laugh when I see people saying Madworld's poor sales are proof that the Wii audience doesn't want mature games though, that kills me. Its like cmon, this game would NOT sell on any machine like I've said from the start, just like Okami. Meanwhile RE4 Wii sells over a million and nobody notices, and when a big game flops on the other machines nobody gets blamed.
My computer is not working on the net. It slows to a crawl whilst i update the news
"You sir, are an idiot"
"Thank you for calling me a sir"
*MadWorld reference
Edgy you can buy MadWorld for cheap! Not sure if you will like it though. It can get repetitive, but if you are a guy who likes exploring levels to find new ways to kill people. Or if you enjoy setting up people and killing them all with a single strike, than go try it!
If it makes it any more enticing Madworld is pretty much now retailing in the $30 range. Amazon has it for $35, and I've seen it on sale at Gamestop for $30. Even though it's a fairly short game at that price it's worth money. And while it's generally overlooked, it actually has one of the better stories I've played through in some time. If nothing else give it a rent if you get the chance.
And because I think it's funny dammit. . .
I've been playing Viva Pinata all weekend. I'm hooked. It can be as relaxing or demanding as you want it to be. You can chill out, grow strange flowers, try to breed weird colored pinatas, or you can go the macho route (like me) and try to get all the Master achievements, which can be very challenging.
It's expensive here!
