Oh I guess I should ask the usual, what have you been playing?
Me, its been Killzone 2.
VS.
(Killzone didn't stand a chance!)
I've been playing Ikari Warriors for the Atari 2600.
It's a surprisingly fun game.

Honestly I have such little personal experience with Macs that it's not really my comparison to make, but just for fun...
OSX is to Windows as Netflix is to Blockbuster. It's going to have its advantages and stands at the surface as a little more modernized and a competitor to the big evil corporation. In reality, you're supporting another big evil corporation that is as bad if not worse with regard to policy, and regardless of how well it works in practice, it will never quite live up to the image it's built for itself. And finally, despite how much progress it may seem like they're making, it's really just an American thing.
In terms of what I think of the platform in general, I wouldn't be a Mac customer because I don't like or support much if anything Apple has done. They have been in heavy support of DRM, lock they programs to their own proprietary hardware, and what software I have used from Apple has been bloated and had horrible security flaws.

Tell me to get back to rewriting this site so it's not horrible on mobilePlease explain.
One of the site's forefathers.
Play fighting games!
Well this weekend I've been playing lots of Mario Kart Wii both online and offline and absolutely loving it. The online games were great, no lag and all the matches were at least 7 players and often times it was the full 12. I've always loved the Mario Kart series so it's no surprise I'm really enjoying this one. I'll have to post my friend codes in the online thread later for anyone who might be interested.
I've also been playing Braid which is such an excellent game itself. I'm up in World 4 and there really are some head-scratching moments that make you wonder how to get some of the puzzle pieces but man is it ever satisfying when you discover how to get them.
Apple's marketshare gains have been predominantly in the US.

Sega Mega Drive Ultimate Collection for me. Just got me first plat!
Otherwise...not much.
I haven't been playing anything. But some limey bastard has been shooting zombies to a bloody pulp in House of the Dead Overkill and decorating his pad in Animal Crossing City Folk.
Mother*******s.
Ravenprose I feel really bad that you gave up on City Folk due to animal tracks. You know before Christmas I put down paths and patched everything with flowers? It has all regrown, it grows faster than some people said, 6 months? No way. I had some bare patches now totally regrown in 9 weeks. If you just stick to your paths and use flowers as plasters, it really does work. Also I noticed that a completely bare path next to a line of trees regrew twice as fast with flowers next to the trees too. I now have a lush green town.
All this stuff below has been fixed:
And I feel like you've missed so much, the Pave Festival, new years, new spring collection at Gracies.
I posted the top 100 devs thread of 2009, check it out guys.
In light of Archies recent purchase:
3. Hideki Konno
Producer
Nintendo
The steady stream of market-embraced blockbusters helmed by Konno has ensured him a place on the Hot 100 since its inception (see the game-changing Nintendogs, the universally acclaimed Mario Kart DS, and so on). But 2008 saw what was his biggest coup yet. Mario Kart Wii, a seemingly unassuming entry in a franchise Konno has worked on since the SNES days, became the best-selling game of the year on the best-selling console of the era. Amazingly outselling bona-fide mainstream juggernauts including Wii Fit, Mario Kart Wii took a popular core franchise into the rarified space of pop culture superstardom. If Konno is now at the height of his influence, it’s only because there’s almost nowhere to go above him.
I thought you'd be flattered. Sega appreciates your help.
Good write up, that initially confused me. Simon Jeffrey SEGA president is a limey, as is the entire Headstrong team that made the game.
I hope the game at least matches sales of HOTD 2 and 3 and gets 800'000. That was a budget game though.
Saturday I was at Disney World. While I was there I was in EPCOT and they have an area called Innoventions which features just a bunch of random fun little technology things you can do, like try out a Segway. One of the activities is to actually star in your own video game. You go to a green screen and they take pictures of you running, jumping, and celebrating, and then take those images and superimpose them into the game so that the character you play with is actually you. Then you can email the game to yourself to play it whenever you like. It's a real rudimentary game where you collect rings (think oldschool Sonic without speed), but it's still kind of cool.
Then Sunday I played NiGHTS Journey Into Dreams and some drunken Mario Kart. Drunk and driving the banana motocycle is no way to go through life son.
Isn't that like 360s You're in the Movies?
NIGHTS sucks BTW
