Sadly, I think Beaver is right. I think devs will always take shortcuts for the wii unless something monumental changes in the software sales numbers. But thats the catch 22, will the numbers change if the shortcuts dont, probably not.
So Madworld needs to sell 10 million, Little King Story 12 million and Conduit 15 million. That should do the trick!
Ground up game? Check!
Pushes the Wii hardware? Check!
Has a nice artstyle to it? Check!
Big name interesting IP? Check!
Made by a AAA developer? Check!
Is a exciting and depthful genre? No!
Damn EA! SO CLOSE! Maybe next time.

Sadly, out of those three third-party titles, the only one that interests me is The Conduit; and I'm not entirely sure I'm going to buy it either.
Nintendo published games, FTW!
Well I love light-gun games so actually I'm more interested in the game now then I was before and it's more possible that this could be something I'll want to purchase. I still really need to get RE: UC sometime soon.
As for the RE5 review I think it's way too early to be saying that they called it like it is. Anyway 81% is still a great score. The potential is definately their for some problems occuring in single-player mode with the AI partner. I still really loved the demo though and I'll certainly be playing it in co-op mode which should totally rock.
The reason why publishers still refuse to invest in true AAA productions on the Wii is because it is very likely that the next wave of consoles will hit in 2 to 3 years. They'd rather milk the Wii out and ramp up for it's successor then ramp up for the Wii to release 1 or 2 at most big games toward the end of its lifespan and revamp immediately short after.

I'm going to get Dead Space for my PC instead.

If you DON'T write some impressions soon I'M GONNA RIP YOUR BALLS OFF ! ! !
I have said it before. The game is going to be brought down in both critics and general public perception because of the questionable game design choices made by the developer team.
Hehehe.
Not entirely, no---not that I've played WaW of course!---you need the weight of Snake's body for you to feel his effort, otherwise it's just something that weighs nothing doing it, and it doens't really give you the same feelikng at all.

Tell me to get back to rewriting this site so it's not horrible on mobileHmm, maybe Microsoft will announce it at this year's E3, and then launch in November?
I thought of that not long ago. That would be scary.
I'd imagine that this will become the "red headed stepchild" of the main series.

I called your opinions wrong before, but damn you are taking it to a whole new level!
$299.95 for an aussie DSI?
Are you having a laugh?
True, but ain't goin' happen.
I think all the manufacturers will hold out as long as possible due to the GFC (as our dear leader calls the Global Financial Crisis).
Sony has the only incentive for a fast PS3.5 release. Same system, less features, lower price (and a wii-mote).
I have avoided all screens, videos, demos (even threads) about RE5. This is the first thing (your post) that concerns me. If they F-up something, just 'cause as developers they are unfamiliar with an element they have introduced, then yeah that would f-up the game for me. So far I've been hoping for just a slight improvement on RE4 (or no changes at all, just the same game, new levels). What you have said though, does indicate that they may be stretching out of their comfort zone.
I am bored
So time for updates
