You didn't find it lacking compared to the RPG games? It's a good game but I felt something missing compared to the RPG games.
When you get to the Ada extra bits could you give me impressions?
Awesome What's going on with the bushfires BTW? You Foolz and Aspro affected at all?
BTW guys you should check out the Overlord Dark Legend Wii video on youtube - click the watch in HD option. Looks pretty spiffy.
Thankfully I'm in Melbourne, so all I got was a bit of smoke and a reddish sky last night. I went to my cousin's today in Hopperscrossing, though, and my Aunt is a teacher, and a lot of her students have friends and family who have died in it, and there was danger that one of my cousin's houses could have been burnt down. Thankfully it wans't. Death toll is up to 135, but apparently it oculd easily make it up to 200. There was a lot of smoke in the sky on the way back too. Couldn't see anything passed the city.
NSMB ... again, i love the adventure a lot but some of the minigames on this thing are just genius. sort out the red & black bombs is the best game to play on the bog, bar none.
illust logic (hudson's superior picross) or zookeeper or some such puzzle game before sleep

I heard that some of the fires are due to arsonists. I mean really what kind of asshole do you have to be to start a forest fire.
Yep, and apparently the CFA and councils aren't allowed to back burn as much as they used to because the enviroment. The enviroment that is generally helped by back burning as a lot of Australian fauna like banskias actually need it. Just heard that 3,700 houses have been burnt down. It's crazy.
the worst kind ... but there's too many of them. in this country too. it's just terrible and tragic

Captain Olimar from the Pikmin games is sending me gifts?!

Pascal swimming away. Awesome.
that's it. i'm reconnecting my wii today, and unwrapping animal crossing. i can't afford not to have the pikmin hat, i just can't ... why are you doing this to me nintendo?
___
Listen to Wu-Tang and watch Kung-Fu
No. I tried it before.

Tell me to get back to rewriting this site so it's not horrible on mobileWhat?! They aren't allowed to back burn?! (I take it, back burning is burning the forest on purpose, so that the forrest fire you see now, do not happen, right?) What incompentent idiots. Foolz tell your government, that if they keep doing these retarded things, I will revoke their independence.
Damnit, I never even thought of that. You know people meeting up online this week with have 4 red pikmin characters. They should have at least varied the colours.
I expected a mario platformer like Super Mario World with great visuals. Then I heard it was this hybrid. Then I played it and found the platforming was too slow. It was like the RPG games, only on a 2-D plane. Which made it sometimes confusing and lacking in... well depth I suppose. It's a good game and all I just prefer the traditional style.

KILLZONE 2 EDGE MAG REVIEW
http://www.edge-online.com/magazine/killzone-2-the-edge-verdict
Let's skim this through.
Intimate, sizzling combat feels a lot like that of FEAR, but is actually more like Criterion’s Black.
It shares that laudable desire to see you through a level without fuss, hindered only by the constant fear of a fatal mistake. A gun game in the truest sense, its bullets and ragdolls offer a literal take on the ‘theatre’ of war, a rare pleasure since GoldenEye.
And it gets extraordinary mileage from piling lots of bodies into simple spaces, letting cutting-edge AI do the rest. A quasi-tactical shooter, its action rivals any in Stalker or COD4.
But without the first game’s ambiguities, a sense of humour or even an ounce of intrigue, its story stinks. It’s so slight you could play the levels in random order to little ill-effect, and it assumes knowledge of everything and everyone, not once recognising the real-world echoes of its premise.
The fraught team dynamic is gone, as is Killzone’s neat trick of having a Helghast operative fighting by your side. The dialogue is functional, the motives obvious.
Worst of all, Killzone 2 doesn’t just default to the genre’s worst impulses some of the time; it does so whenever the fateful question’s asked: “What now, Sarge?” Answers include: get on that turret, marine; grab that bazooka and take out that tank; man that mech; watch out for those sentry bots; and rendezvous with Alpha Team and secure that LZ.
Sentry bots? You must be joking. If you can’t think for yourself after so many millions of dollars have been spent, surely it’s common courtesy to make your clichés interesting. Not here, it seems, where half the chapters feel like multiplayer maps full of bots and random waypoints.
Deathmatches openly celebrate the tight controls (jumping now included), hand-made environments and technical beauty of a game.
Thanks largely to its online play, Killzone 2 should find itself a fanbase no one can overlook. In singleplayer, it’s a testament to craft and imagination, if only because one is so immaculate while the other barely exists. It fights a great battle, it’s just a shame about the war.
7/10
