I think Violent Aredente is a big triceratops thing that races back and forth and then up and down a big grassy arch in the area between the refugees camp and the bridge that you first travel in to reach the area and fight a few Mechon while going to get Juju. A pack of wolves should be near that gets attracted easily in a fight so if you're not overleveled you should go up the grassy arch thing and wait for the beast to come there to fight it.

Satori Marsh is big, it is a lot flatter than the leg area, but still big. There are some awesome sidequests there.

It looks beautiful at night, but beware of the monsters.

Does his charge move mean instant death?

Sounds cool.

I wish there was something to ride on, like the ponies or a buggy. That would be fun too.

So can you only have 3 people in your party with guests on the side?

I don't think so, just try and see? You don't lose anything if you die, but even before I could beat it I don't remember dying, just running away after seeing I didn't do enough damage as he kept eating away at my characters' health. If you're around his level he's doable.

I don't like the flying enemies, I'm not too good with them. I upgraded Sharlas Thunter bullet a lot but it doesn't seem to help that much.

Any tips?

Nope. I didn't act any differently with them than any other enemies. They were harder when I first reached that swamp area but all I did was pick the battles carefully with just one or two of them. There's also a unique but low level one up on a hill top with lots of others, at first I couldn't even see it so I thought I was fighting groups of normal ones, wondering why I die so much there, until I observed from a distance and saw it, then I dragged them few by few and managed to isolate just that one after killing a few others and beat it.

What is this leg thing you're talking about? You are in the leg of something? Can you see the groin?

^The whole game world takes place on two warring giants that have died.

@GG

About the flying enemies. Lure them towards you from a distance, they will fly low and are easily hittable. Luring is done by pressing up on your talent bar, you have the talent option, the flee option, the chain link option and lure option. The lure option looks like an arrow.

If you can't be bothered fighting them (I am assuming you are at Satori Marsh), just change to night time. They are level 80 then, but they won't attack you on sight.

Hey, thanks, I didn't know there's a lure option so I was considering making Sharla my main to shoot from afar when I want to lure them, lol. Makes me think of using a bow as a tank in WoW for luring.

LOL, how can you be this far into the game without knowing about it?

So Nintendo UK officially rocks. indecision

Firstly the download link for the free Xenoblade soundtrack doesn't work and the contact page doesn't work so you can't tell them about it.  You have to either install Firefox and use a trick to get it to work or install a download manager.

Once you've done all that you extract the files and get the mp3s. Only the tracks don't have "burn rights" on them so you can't use WMP to make an audio CD.

Bravo, Nintendo, UK. Well played.

Wow, I'm listening to the Xenoblade soundtrack now and it's awesome, I can already feel what later sections of the game are going to be like, the Parting ways tune.... wow, that's going to give you that epic feeling once this massive RPG is all done.

I'm also in this swamp like place, can't remember what it's called, at first I didn't like it that much compared to the Bionis leg area but it's grown on me. The music and atmosphere is great, it's this neon lit swamp, like an enchanted area. So cool.

I love how accessible this game is, it makes something that outwardly looks complex a cinch to play, yet with a lot of depth.

Any of you like the battle dialogue?

Sometimes they randomly put lines in so I got this delicious moment. I beat some enemies and Sharla said:

"I think I need a shower"

Then Shulk said:

"Let's try and stay focused"

LOL

I beat a monster that was two levels above me. I was doing really well with chain attack, till some other enemy got involved in the battle. This caused my entire party do die, just leaving shulk alive. I barely beat the monster with shulk, but I did it.

I am now at an area, that is gobsmackingly awesome. Seriously, I just sat there and stared thrying to take in the awesomeness.

GG the area after Satori Marsh will be awesome and after that will be orgasmic.

I cannot tell more because GG thinks everything is a spoiler.

So far this game is one of the best RPG ever.

There are so many sidequest that I just said screw it and move the story forward, but now I kinda want to go back and do them anyways.

I already figured out who the metal faced mechons are, if you talk to Desiree, you will figure it out pretty quickly as well.

I am 40 hours in and I am not even halfway, this game is massive.

I'm 26 hours in and just reached Makna Forest.

Shame about the jungle pop up as otherwise it would look pretty awesome. I love the vista of the huge tree. I'm still loving the game, even enjoyed Satori marsh after I dug into it. Did you guys enter and beat exile fortress?

I chickened out, they were all a higher level than me.

BTW how do you guys beat the ether glowing orb things? They are resistant to almost all attacks and it takes ages to beat them.
