Yeah it's pretty awesome stuff. I'm almost ready to get another Ares 90 for another member of my team, going to be pretty sweet.

Don't
I heard that the Mastema White Reaper can become one of the most powerful skells in the same. Make that one, strip its armour and give it the Amdusias Hades armour. And equip a uber weapon on it. Because the Mastema is fully customisable it can outperform the Ares 90. My end goal is to have an Ares 90 fully levelled up, 1 Mastema White Reaper fully customized, 1 Amdusias Hades and a Verus Cain, because the big sword. And of course my ground gear fully levelled up with infinite overdirve!

Oh nice. I'll have to check those other ones out then.

How do you do this?
12 CRUDE neihail masks away from my ares 90, was much easier than I thought.
EDIT: done the time attack mission 10 times, got 1 mask. Screw this shit.
Finally beat Definian downfall, and completed all Off the Record Missions.
Getting these Crude Neihail masks is taking forever.
Also found a sort of cheat that you can use for anything except those missions where certain characters are required.
Go to the console on the right of the basic missions console and recruit 3 level 60 drifters who use dual guns and a sword.
Press the X button to see detailed stats, you want people with Potential over 300.
They cream bad guys and can even help against massive asshole tyrants too.
Coincidentally I am a level 60 drifter with dual guns and a longsword and I was wondering why my team was dropping like flies, while I lasted much longer.

You're essentially paying in ingame cash to recruit real peoples high level characters from online. You rent them for 4 hours for a reasonable rate. They are all computer controlled of course.
A tyrant in Cauldros I couldn't down with 3 of the most expensive level 30 skells and my level 50 skell.
I recruited these 3 drifters on foot and me in my skell were able to do what 4 skells could not.
Also they keep tension so high that even if you drop they revive you pretty regularly.
Archangel3371 said:Nice. I've never tried recruiting anyone myself but my character has been recruited a few times.
Mine too, which I discovered tooling about on the console, you get rewards too.
The rentals also helped clear that White Lifehold mission.
Have you guys tried customising your barracks?
Finally got all my Ares 90 materials and rejigged my probes, waiting for 100k miranium.
Look at these jokers I recruited.
As a note, recruiting the Drifters from the scout console makes doing all the time attack missions a breeze so you can harvest all the materials pretty easily. And with a Ares 90 killing Xedoms and Seidrs in Cauldros for the rest is easy too.
Even with my Ares 90 I still got killed by the headless tyrant in Oblivia and by that flying fungus thing in White Phosphor lake. Managed to down that massive Star Wars like beast in Cauldros easily.
I think I will just get another Ares 90 as soon as I get enough reward tickets for more Yggarith hearts. Two should be more than enough, but they eat through fuel a lot.
As for the skell itself, I kinda hate it. I mean I love its power and how it handles, but it looks small and toylike and it skates. Skates FFS.
I want the most powerful skell to be some cool looking hulking behemoth. Love the wings though.
