Nope, I wrote Crouching Tiger's script.

I don't believe you. There were no spunk and Wesker references anywhere in the movie.

I'm not saying it was one of my good pieces of writing, just that I wrote it.

What have I been watching? Avatar: The Last Airbender.

I've had the series for a while, but after seeing the Shylaman movie a little whiles ago, I decided to finally man up and watch the series. OH MY GOD HOW THE FUCK DID I GO THIS LONG WITHOUT SEEING IT.

The film is....... okay-ish.

The series is great, I have the full series on dvd. Really good stuff. It started off decent but by the end of series 1 I was hooked and got the whole set. The funniest episode is the one where they do the stage play of the avatar story so far.

Finally saw Tron Legacy last night. Loved it. As a kid I did not like Tron since I couldn't quite figure out what it was about, but a few months ago I finally watched it again and enjoyed it. The sequel is vastly different, but still pretty good. Not sure why so many people trashed it though. Hell of a lot better than Avatar.

Yep.

This reminds me. I need to pick up copies of both Tron movies on Blu-ray soon.

Yeah I wasn't sure whether or not it would be worth the purchase so I rented it, but now I'll be looking to get a copy of of the combo pack that's out there. My original Tron copy is not so good.  Oh and since we're on the subject with Tron, let me show you what I got my wife for our anniversary. Not sure which is sadder, the fact that I thought it would be a good idea, or that it actually was a she loved it:

I'm not sure what to think of your childhood anymore. You had it sounding awesome a few posts back, but now...

I recieved a bunch of Disney Blu-ray movies today from my sister. She is a Disney Movie Club member, and gets some awesome deals on Disney movies (Buy 1st movie at full price, get 50% off each additional). Grinning

Tangled

I watched this for the first time tonight, and it's a very fun movie.

Alice in Wonderland (2010)

Tim Burton's sequel to the original animated film. Awesome to finally have it on Blu-ray.

Bolt

Rhino pwns all!

Wall-E

Awesome movie made even more awesome in Hi Def!

Walt Disney Treasures - Mickey Mouse in Living Color, Volume Two

5 hrs and 34 minutes of full color Mickey mouse cartoons? Hells yeah!

Walt Disney Treasures - Mickey Mouse in Black and White

5 hours and 45 minutes of vintage Mickey Mouse cartoons? Hells yeah again! Sadly, both Mickey Mouse collections are DVD-only, but that's okay. I'll enjoy them all the same.  Oh, and they both came in a metal case too! Grinning

I kind of hated Alice Returns. Yet another Burton self-fellating bad acid trip.

Me too.  I didn't find the movie to be fun at all.

i'm gonna have to argee due to book fanboyism. Terrible adaptation, but pretty much all of them are. At least it didn't have Whoopi fucking Goldberg as the Chesire Cat.

I haven't watched the Burton Alice.

I like the old cartoon and I recentely saw the Sci Fi channel version which was not as good as Tin Man - the sci fi Wizard of Oz.

It was worth it for Helena Bonham Carter. THAT'S ALL.
