Still kind of lost, so I follow the links above to download some recording thing.
So what you are saying is we are recording the what we are playing thing separately but the news stuff together.

Yes, you run Skype for the conversation, then an audio recording program such as Audacity or the aforementioned Messer to record your microphone only. Then I merge them all.
I'm going to have everyone start recording at about the same time (3, 2, 1, RECORD!) to simplify the editing.
