I hereby claim the title Hobo King.

Why?

I just bought New Super Mario Bros Wii and Boom Blox Bash Party for €60,-. That is the price of 1 HD game, but wait there is more!

I also got a gift card of €10,-. So basically I paid €50,- for it.

I will use the gift card to either buy Anno for 20, Wii Fit plus or Klonoa for 10.

Iga superior > Archie inferior

Edit: I almost forgot. Boom Blox (the original) is actually €30,-. You heard it right, the superior sequel is 10 euro's cheaper than the obsolete original.

awesome deal.  was this online or at a shop?  it would cost me 70euro just to get NSMB from a shop over here

shop. Media Markt. They had a gamer's heaven deal. For each 25 Euro's you spend, you get a 5 Euro gift card. My original plan was to buy Punch-Out for 30 in another store and New Mario Bros Wii for 40 Euro, but the deal was too good to pass. So I bought Boom Blox Bash Party for 20, because I was going to buy the game anyways. So I got a 10 Euro gift card. Of course you can only use the gift card at the same store and Punch-Out is still 50 Euro there, so I will use it on another game. Anno is the front runner now!

anno seems like a bit of a waste.  get punch-out for 30 (it's a great deal as nintendo games notoriously stay at launch price forever) and save your card for whatever game you choose to get next

Anno got awesome reviews. I am willing to try it out.

just the other day for better or worse i resisted a one day deal on ratchet & clank ACIT for the same price so i felt less bad for ordering tatsunoko.

that's a pretty good deal iga.

i ordered bayonetta for £18 at zavvi.  i'm not sure i will even like this game so much but the hobo deal was impossible to resist.  this was released like, less than a month ago wasn't it?  i'm sure i could sell it at a prophit if i didn't like it.

now when will uncharted 2 and assassin's creed 2 get to nice price levels?  it's taking longer than i thought.

I just picked up a couple of Hobo deals.

Muramasa and Crystal Bearers.

Yeah that's right, I had to try Crystal Bearers seeing how its called an experimental game that is a few steps away from greatness (no map, timed battles etc).

Each was about £14 each.

Yeah nice snag on Muramasa. That's still selling for $35 to $40 over here.  God knows that may be the prettiest game I've played in a long time.  Jury was still out on the gameplay, but this was one of the rare occasions where the visuals were so good it would push you to keep playing just so you could see what was next.

i think there's easy and normal.  i played normal (the option on the right), and it was about right.  if you were asking if you should play as the guy or the girl, you need to do both as they are separate stories which run sort of parallel.  i was alternating between the two after beating a boss usually.

in muramasa?  i don't know, mine just played like an action-rpg.  thought the options were just to do with the difficulty since one said something like "if you're a noob pick this" and the other "experienced gamers click here".

the gameplay is all non-stop 2D action but you gain experience and levels (which allows you to use more powerful swords etc)

So the game doesn't clearly specify which mode you get?

this is the first i hear about there being 2 different modes.  like i said i thought it was just the difficulty option
