Dare to dream.
I beat Donkey Kong Country for the SNES wednesday. You can still see how the graphics were revolutionary for the time, even if it just looks like a bunch of low quality clips to todays standards. The gameplay itself hasn't aged well though. A few too many cheap deaths and mostly uninspired level design. - 5/10
I beat a bunch of things since Ys 2
It Takes Two - it was aight
Super Mario World - kino but not as Kino as Mario 3 or Yoshi's Island
Sonic All Star Racing - fun, I enjoy it more than Mario Kart. Seems more fair, boosting n combing stunts is done better here.
OG Legend of Zelda - Good game. Wizrobes seriously got downgraded over the years, because they are a joke enemy in 3D zelda games, but actually savages in this game lol
Castle of Illusion 2013 Remake - Baby game. Mediocre.
Halo 5's campaign in coop - absolute gutter trash
Halo 4's campaign - Bad. The chief/cortana stuff i think is genuinely enjoyable if sloppily written n presented, but the rest of the story stinks. And since that's directly responsible for the presentation quality increase, but at the expense of the ai being worse, levels being more linear, guns disappearing from the ground, and a whole bunch of other campaign short comings not worth.
Star Fox 1993 - This is a tech demo sold as a video game. I'm sure it was technically cool as shit in 1993, but the game sucks. It does not feel good to play from a generation that has some classics that all kick ass in the "feel good to play" department.
I'm at 15 games beaten on the year.
Currently working through
Doom Eternal (again) and its two DLCs - I'll count it as one whole game beaten. Had to mod back in the arachnatron and make Tag 1 like pre patch. STOP NERFING SHIT FOR SCRUBS HUGO MARTIN. I PLAY ON NIGHTMARE FOR A REASON. Speaking of which tomas you can't play Eternal with arachnatron nerfs, need you to mod that in chief.
Mass Effect 1 - doing it for podcast purposes. Game is not good.
A Way Out - I've beaten BRothers before, and just beat it takes two, feel like i gotta do all the joseph farris games now
Phoenix Wright Ace Attourney - lol this is some cool shit.
I beat Genesis Noir last Saturday. It's a very unique game, staging the big bang and all of evolution as an incredibly classy and jazzy storyline about trying to prevent a murder that's already happened/the big bang.
It's an adventure game with a lot of different puzzles/gameplay ideas that don't stay around for too long before you're off to the next thing. Presentation is top notch, a combination of 3D and 2D etched in white and golds on the dusky backdrop of infinite space, accompanied by jazzy tunes. Very unique and currently also on GamePass. - 8/10
I beat a pacman championship dx by getting all the achievements, being top of the leaderboard of my friends group, and by doing every activity for everyboard. Game is good
I beat A way out. That game fucking sucks. What rubbish. I will admit to it being so bad, its funny at times, but the playing it part is garbage.
I just finished The First Tree, let's hope it's the last. Available now for free on Epic games.

At least you have someone to play it with.
Finished two more recently. Will pretty up my post with pictures next time I'm near my PC! 😬

Since this I'm at 21 games beaten.
I believe since this its Mass Effect 1, Allied Assault, Resi 7, Resi 8.
Just beat Doom Eternal again, but not gonna count it till I finish up the DLC with it.
And the credits roll in Resident Evil Village. Took me nearly 13 hours. Really good game, great even but I’d still put it below the top tier stuff like RER, RER2, and RE4. Better then 7 for sure though. Played on Hardcore for my first playthrough and there definitely some pretty challenging parts. The initial lycan attack in the beginning of the game, a couple of lycan attack parts in the Stronghold area, and the final boss fight immediately spring to mind. The initial lycan fight damn near made me want to drop the difficulty. Now to play through again on the Village of Shadows difficulty, find all the little secrets and stuff that I might have missed, and play some Mercenaries mode.

The gameplay is rough, even when it was released it wasn't particularly good. However the story is extremely compelling. I may even have to write a review on this. Really unique game.
Always wanted to play this. I may need to join you in Wii or Wii U "emulation" gaming!

hop on board the train. There's always room for more.
Plus I may or may not have files I can share with you.

It gets bogged down a little when Wiimote acts unresponsive, but I remember back in the day when Gamespot gave this a nine and a lot of people's heads were blown wondering why that was. Totally deserves it though. This is just pure fun and some Japanese weirdness at its finest. Nice little work yet too. When the micro game start coming really fast you can wear yourself down just a bit.
Playing this at a games expo was what sold me on the Wii, in stark contrast to Red Steel at the same expo which was awful (though it looked great).

I have to say I regret not trying this game sooner. Stupid amounts of fun. Definitely has me excited for the new upcoming Wario switch game.
It certainly seems like the best one to try to get into. My experience with the franchise is basically just World and Rise. By all accounts this is the most streamlined one and the most welcoming for newcomers to jump into.
