I gitted gud with with Bayo 2.
Bayo's score may rise to a 10 if I git gud at that, too.
Finished Marvel vs Capcom: Infinite. It's somewhat of a mixed bag. The gameplay is really good as is the online and it has a decent smattering of modes to play. However there are some characters who are noticeably absent and the general presentation of the game just really feels flat. There's no flashy intro cinema like there was in the previous game and the menus are really bland. Some characters look better then others. The story is ok. 7.5 out 10.
Just finished Doom 2016. The combat is so fast, visceral, and intense. It's a good looking game and the soundtrack is quite frenetic and really sets the tone for the intense combat. The story is good but it's mainly just killing demons although there is some cool stuff to be found in finding bits and pieces in the game world especially in how the demons view the doom slayer. Multiplayer can be a bit of fun but it's largely just pretty meh. The map building utility is pretty good in building custom maps. All in all a great game. 8 out of 10.
Just finished The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Great game, completely unexpected style coming from Nintendo, but I would have subtitled it:
The Legend of Zelda: Long in the Tooth.
This must be my worst year for playing games in a long time. I blame books.

I finished the full Diablo III & Reaper of Souls. I'm kind of wondering if I played it wrong. It was okay, but nothing special. I think Diablo gets worse the more story they try to add to it. I enjoyed the original a lot more when it was just a trial to get to the bottom of a very deep cave and kill a badass monster. Too easy too. If you weren't played on the hardest level it was a complete cakewalk.

I don't know how this is happening...every year for the last five years I pretty much end up with between 40 to 50 games finished. All you other guys are slacking off this year.
20. Beat Absolver - 6/10
Neat game, neat fighting engine. It could use more enemy variety, and I wish the grinding for moves wasn't there. But, using that fighting system against other people was neat as fuck.
21. Beat Splatoon 2 - 7/10
The single player is still only aight, but the mp is good. The final boss for this game was a downgrade from the final boss in the first game. Which was the only good boss in that game. Everything else is "competent".
22. Beat Cuphead - 8/10
FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF my kind of game. Tight mechanics, well designed bosses that challenge the player, and all of its fair. There isn't one instance in the game where I feel like the player doesn't have an appropriate counter or option. The early bosses are pushovers, but you know the later ones aren't. The run n gun stages sans one platforming segment are average at best, and I'd probably say they are subpar. But the bosses are killer as fuck.

There are like 6 stages in total, and like 16 bosses. So it's not that big of a deal. Plus the levels are fairly short.

Every game is fucking 30-100 hours long.
Recently beat Super Mario Odyssey. Wow, such an awesome and fun game. I love running around finding all the collectibles in this game. Taking control of various enemies and finding a variety of things that you can do with them is quite a bit of fun. It’s fairly easy getting through the main portion of the game however in typical Nintendo fashion it only opens up more after the credits and gives you a lot more things to do to truly get the most out of the game. 10 out of 10.
Mario + Rabbids is done! Amazing game that’s a ton of fun. This is my first SRPG game and I can’t wait for the the dlc.
