I just finished Gears Of War Judgement.

Very fun game....I like how they added some actual COLOR to the world. Its been a long time since I played the other games, so its hard to say where this one fits. But I'd say its right up there wiith the others in terms of overall quality. 8.2 Rating.

Judgment was a really good game but not quite as good as Gears 3. They added some cool new features but leaving out Horde mode was a glaring flaw.

Just beat StarFox Assault.

Definitely don't regret skipping this one back in the day. Everything about it is sub par, and the entire game feels like it should have been much better. It has crap controls...its like they weren't willing to go all the way with a modern dare I say ACE COMBAT like setup for the air, or a Halo type setup on the ground. So you're left with this awkward scheme that almost feels like it was pulling to be on rails. The voice acting sucks....seriously I know its talking frogs and rabbits and shit but please....it should be better than THIS. Ditto for the story. Graphics are sub par for #1 a 1st party Nintendo exclusive Gamecube title, and #2 for Namco's Ace Combat team. Ace Combat on the PS2 should not look better than Star Fox on the Gamecube.....this game should have given Rogue Squadron 3 a run for its money. Oh, and its short as hell. Like 5 hours long.

Seems like a game Namco phoned in while they were working on other stuff, and for some reason Nintendo allowed it. Probably because they were getting stuff like Soul Calibur 2 and the Baten Kaitos games and Tales of Symphonia, and didn't want to rock that boat.

7.2 rating.

Finally beat my first game of the year - Kirby's Return to Dreamland. Not a bad game at all either. Definitely an overlooked Wii game.

Updated with the HD version of Resident Evil Zero.

This game still gives me the exact same feeling it did in 2002. That is, its good and has all the RE trademarks but yet falls short in terms of storyline & the changes they made to the formula made the game much worse than it should have been. I mean, literally if they had just added the storage chests to the game like every other game it would be 10 times better. Or just let you have an unlimited inventory on your characters. How they thought taking the chests out & not fixing the inventory would make a better game is beyond me.

I really wish they actually would have tweaked this HD release and did one of those two things I mentioned.

15. Beat Out There Somewhere - 5/10

Overall it's aight, on paper it seems like my kind of game. It's an indie game, it's a side scroller with multiple paths at times, there is puzzle platforming, there is a teleporting gun, the final boss is a shmup level. Ultimately none of it really challenged me as far as the puzzles were concerned, it doesn't quite stump me the way a Braid did, or stop me in my tracks or have think outside the box like the better levels in Portal or Antichamber, and in general a lot of these obstacle types I've seen before, included the color coded beam of light that stops me from doing thing, acts like this one other thing, and enhances my thing.

The setting is pretty tame and while there are stretches where I can go a few different ways, including the 9 cores being hidden behind some of the more elaborate scenarios in the game, it was mostly a pushover start to finish. I'm mildly interested to see what this team would

Yay! Just finished Dark Souls 2: Scholar of the First Sin. Excellent game and it seemed bigger the I was expecting. I will likely play it some more but I now await Dark Souls 3. smiley

I finished Mario & Luigi: Dream Team.  This is a bit of an odd game.  It is the fourth entry in one of the more niche Mario franchises.  Released in 2013 with very little fanfare and mostly lukewarm reviews, I must say I played this expecting to enjoy it because I love the M&L style of gameplay and have enjoyed all the previous games in the series.  I was also expecting to be disappointed for some reason, purely going by perception and generally how ignored this game was on the whole, and at first I can't hide the fact that I was a bit disappointed.  The premise, the gimmick, the gameworld were all less interesting and less funny to begin with than M&L3 (Bowser's Inside Story), but I liked it well enough to stick with it.  Somewhere down the line I went from merely going through the motions just to get to the end, to actually enjoying it.  I warmed up to the new world, the new characters, the dream gimmicks, the new gameplay and all the stuff from the old games which made me love this franchise so much in the first place.  This may well be the best M&L game I have played yet, even though I must admit to holding Superstar Saga high on a pedestal, but Dream Team is clearly better than the two DS entries.  It is also much much longer than the previous two entries.  In fact if memory serves me right it took me little over twenty hours if that, to finish Partners in Time, and about the same for Bowser's Inside Story.  Dream Team took me close to sixty.  And I didn't even spend much time with all the minigames, or completing all the collections etc and so much more which there is to do in this game.  Not all of the sixty hours were equally brilliant, in fairness.  The beginning dragged a bit, and so did the end, and there are also some fetch quests the game could do without.  In fact if they'd streamlined it a little bit and shaved off about ten hours of non-essential stuff, I think the game would have benefitted from that.  Still it's a great game, and I'm very pleased I made the effort to play it.  If you have enjoyed previous M&L games (or even if you haven't) but have been put of by the lukewarm reception this game received, it may be worth checking out.  It's great.

PS Testament to how much I loved this game is the fact that I bought the new Mario & Luigi game (Paper Jam) as a reaction to how much I was enjoying this game even though I had originally thought I was pretty well done with the series.

Well now I will never get Dream Team. BIS is about the end for me with this series, I was seriously feeling fatigue dispite the quality of that game. 60 hours of that, no thanks.

It usually takes me longer than average to finish a game.  Maybe you could do it in less than the 55-60 hours it took me, but it is certainly far far longer than BiS and PiT.

I never played the other Mario & Luigi games but I did play Dream Team and really enjoyed it. I picked up Bowser's Inside Story some time ago but have yet to get around to playing it.

BIS is one I never completed for some reason so I felt it was pointless to pick up the latest.

16. Beat Pokemon Yellow - 5/10

I powered through the game and basically just rekt the elite 4 with Charizard, Zapdos and Articuno.

Beat DOOM 3 BFG EDITION.

Just like Okami, if this game was 10 hours shorter it would have been a better game. The basic gunplay is great but being a corridor shooter there's only so many "locked door, find keycard in adjacent hallway" scenarios you can take before it gets boring. The pacing is all off. Still, its fun and spooky, and the production still holds up better than most Wii U games. This is also a game that feels better with keyboard and mouse, so playing it on PC instead of the original XBOX really helps.

Pokken Tournament is completed! At least the main game anyway. After saving Mewtwo and beating the main tournament, a new "S" level tournament opened up (shocking).  I'll play through that at some point but for now I'm going to focus on the online community and get beaten there.

Beat Final Fantasy Type 0.

Ehhh...I liked it more at the beginning than I did by the end, by a mile. The game never really takes off in terms of story and the action system gets old. Overall one of the worst FF games I've played. For how much FF13 gets shit on, I think it blows this away.

Just finished Pokken Tournament, really good game and an excellent transition for Pokemon to the fighting game genre. Pretty solid gameplay mechanics. It looks and sounds good. The character selection is kind of small but understandable given that this is a first game in the genre. Good selection of modes to play and the online runs great. 8.5/10

Updated with Black Mesa.

Totally badass Half Life remake....they did an amazing job with it. I forgot how long this game was....man, we don't get story driven FPS like this too often anymore. A damn shame, as this is the best kind. Crazy thing is it doesn't even include the whole game. The ending is still cut out.
