Okay. So I ran out of regular tea, so deep in my pantry I found this:

So, I like drink tea nowadays to substitute for my crazy diet cola soda habit.  So I've been grabbing whatever tea I find, like Dilmah or Bushells.  Dilmah is very smooth, Bushelss is like, traditional breakfast tea.

This SHIT tastes like it is made from old newspapers.  I think also they are using coloring to make it brown.  It's HARD.

Any recomendations? No HERBAL stuff, I want old school tea.

And I have it like I have my women, black and bitter.

So you have your tea with coffee instead of tea? Nyaa

Lipton is nice. The ones advertised by Nigella Lawson is nice too, but I can't remember the name of the company. Perhaps she advertises Lipton?

Dilmah ftw.

Darjeeling is considered the Champagne of teas, that is what I drink so try that.

But what you need to know is that there are teas which are (first shoot or first flush) which are the first crop of tea taken from the bush before they wait for a second batch of tea to grow. The first shoot is the best, it has a clean flavour with no bitterness or aftertaste. You can also get a Darjeeling Himalaya which is best drunk with no milk but with sugar, very nice. Try ebay to get bags of this, the lipton one is good.

Stay clear of the vile Lapsong which tastes like someone has thrown charcoal into your mug. Earl Grey is nice but quite strong and a quite distinct flavour.

Green tea is nice, no milk just a little sugar. It's suppossed to be good for you too.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Darjeeling_tea

Darjeeling tea, from the Darjeeling region in West Bengal, India, has traditionally been prized above all other black teas, especially in the United Kingdom and the countries comprising the former British Empire. When properly brewed, it yields a thin-bodied, light-colored liquor with a floral aroma. The flavor also displays a tinge of astringent tannic characteristics, and a musky spiciness often referred to by tea connoisseurs as "muscatel." Although Darjeeling black teas are marketed commercially as "black tea", almost all of them have incomplete oxidation (<90%), so they are technically more Oolong than black.

Unlike most Indian tea, Darjeeling is normally made from the small-leaved Chinese variety of Camellia sinensis var. sinensis, rather than the large-leaved Assam plant (C. sinensis var. assamica). Traditionally, Darjeeling tea is made as black tea; however, Darjeeling oolong and green teas are becoming more commonly produced and easier to find, and a growing number of estates are also producing white teas. After the enactment of Geographical Indications of Goods (Registration & Protection) Act, 1999 in 2003, Darjeeling tea became the first Indian product to receive a GI tag, in 2004-05 through the Indian Patent Office.[1]

Is Mexico one of those countries where people drink thier coffee out of these tiny little shot-glass-like cups? I don't get that.  Unless it's just a "cut the bullshit, I'm doing this for the caffiene" type thing, in which case I fully respect it.

Not that I'm aware of. People here usually drink coffee on regular cups, unless it's espresso, which is usually served in tiny-ass cups like the ones you said.

That's really more of a Cuban thing I think. But Cuban coffee is pretty dangerous. Drinking regular sized cups of their coffee will stop your heart.

Yeah, we have iced tea bags and bottles. The bottled iced tea tastes like crap, though. I always use make my own at home.

I like PG Tips English Breakfast Tea, but other mainstream brands, like Tetley's etc are perfectly adequate.  I also like Twinings Darjeeling and Twinings Earl Grey.

I don't eat added sugar with anything so I put none in my tea but I put a tiny splash of milk otherwise it upsets my stomach and causes me to throw up.

Don't like Ice Tea.
