2- Do you mean where you play as ONE character versus another, single character? Again. No.

i think they usually make late estimates to be safe. stuff from amazon in the US most always reached me at least a day or two ahead of the estimated delivery date

No, rather a single match of your 2 characters vs 2 CPU characters. Not survival where you play until you lose against random opponents, and not arcade where you go through to the end, but just choose who your characters are, who you fight, and go.
Oh, and for times, any day after midnight UTC, other than Wednesday night/Thursday morning.

Seriously, Battle of the Planets was THE show that virtually every other team action cartoon was based on. Voltron, Bionic Six, M.A.S.K., Thundercats, etc. This was the grand daddy of them all. Granted, it hasn't held up particularly well over time but it was a pretty big deal back in the 70's.
