This seems like the kind of game that is almost impossible to describe without going into specific story points and spoilers.

It definitely is.  I felt like I posted too much earlier.  I'm really desperate to beat the game before some internet fuckwad spoils it for me.

Now Playing: King's Bounty, Demon's Souls, BF1943
Now Listening: Karl Blau- Zebra, Atlas Sound- Logos

I'm definitely digging it so far. I won't talk so much about my actions, but I just love how progressive it is, in the way that you don't have enough time to make your choices and you have to plan for what you're doing. That, and the music is great.

That being said though, the game is a technical fucking mess. Even with the patch,  load times are stupid long , the sound keeps cutting out intermittently, character models move in ways that no human should be allowed to and more. Then there's the voice acting which doesn't exactly sound clean and almost kind of distorted at times, alongside it sounding at times like people are putting on accents and not sounding natural - if you've played the demo, there's a character in the Sleazy Hotel section that is the epitome of it.

Though despite this, I'm digging it.

I know who the Origami Killer is, and it's not affecting my enjoyment of the game.

Give THE MAN the middle finger, dude! LOL

The MAN happens to be my brother, and he is wise to my shenanigans.  I almost got fired last week.  As it stands, I just need to find a new job.Nyaa

He's your brother, just kick him in the balls.

I love your description, I would love to play a game like this.

Indeed I did. It's a game of ugly puppets and depressing weather. 7.5 was being generous. I'll wait for GoW3 for my QTE's thank you very much!

At least he finished it.

Children, our lives have been gongs striking; clamour and boasting; cries of despair; blows on the nape of the neck in gardens.

He's really a ghost, the main character. The kid sees ghosts and he's a ghost.

I have seen pics of that. Happy

Minority Report is the new Back to the Future 2 for me. BTTF2 told everyone that we would have flying cars, hoverboards, self drying jackets, shoes that tie themselves, newspapers that have video on them, all by 2015. Clearly now we know all of that is a freaking lie (I still get angry that we don't have flying cars). Minority Report gave us another view of the future, this one seems plausable. We better have those cool floating screen, glove moving stuff soon. Now I expect the future to look like that movie, it better not disappoint like BTTF2. Nyaa

Flying cars were always a stupid idea.  We also already have the legal system of Minority Report, and the crime is called "conspiracy."

Oh man. Maybe it's because I have kids, but some of the shit in this game really hits close to home. And Shelby the PI is an awesome character.

ARI, the VR interface that the FBI agent uses, shows some shit I first saw on Minority Report. Namely, that you can handle and manage "virtual" files in midair, with the use of a glove and a pair of special glasses.

Just finished it. Fuuuuuuu. I did not see that coming.

Nice ride, flaws and all. If you have the system and enjoy adventure games, this one is well worth a try.

You give us an initial impression, and then your next post you've finished it.

You guys. Sad
