Damn it all this hype is inflating my expectations (sure why not, AND MY DICK AS WELL). Nyaa

I hope this game delivers when it finally comes out. I like the N64 version on VC so I guess I won't be too disappointed.

The Guardian review

The Guardian reviews Sin and Punishment 2

With its vivid graphics, soundtrack and challenging, perfectly balanced levels, S&P2 deserves a bigger audience than it will probably receive. However, it's one of the most imaginative Wii games currently available and will tide you over the impending summer slump a lot better than many better known titles.

Lost Gamer review

Sin and Punishment 2 Lost gamer review

Sin & Punishment: Successor of the Skies has a glorious vivacity that pulses through its veins from start to finish. Among the constant stream of enemies, ammunition and anything else that isn’t nailed to the ground is game so wrapped in the seasonings of its former influences, it’s as if you’ve gone back in time and loaded up Space Harrier for the first time. Few games manage such a balance that taps into classic elements whilst throwing its own unique touches. It’s a shame that most of the Wii’s audience might not be able to comprehend how spectacular and rewarding Sin & Punishment can be but those who do will find a tingling buzz that’s difficult to waggle free from.

Lost Gamer Verdict 9/10

Okay, let me tell you about the original Sin and Punishment. That game had awesome, awesome levels, awesome amount of enemies and so much awesome bosses. I downloaded that game and finished it, but one thing always bothered me.

The thing that bothered me were the controls. The shooting was fine, but manoeuvring you character was a chore. Avoiding enemy attacks was never natural. I could not get used to it. The sequel fixes that problem. Moving is now done with an analogue stick. Now it is so much easier to move around. You can even fly now, whenever you want. Even aiming is easier now, because of the pointer.

The level design, enemies and bosses is also improved and thanks to the revamped controls some enemies fill the screen with bullets. There are even ways to multiply your score by not getting hit and killing lots of enemies. Definitely has replay value. It is hard, it is nuts, it is awesome. It even has a underwater level with manta rays and fish, and you can shoot them all dead!

What more could you ask for?

Okay, so I just go to a dark level in a forest, with full moon. fighting ninja like creatures, skeleton, zombies and flying medusa heads.

OMG is am playing Castlevania.

Heck this game is awesome.

First you play this Castlevania level standing still with the camera at you back. That you walk forwards, the camera sweeps back and you shoot the ninjas chasing you. Then you fly up and the game turns in  overhead shooter. Ninjas hide in the grass below and you rain death from above. Then it turn to a sidescroller with enemies attacking you from both background and foreground. Then there is a sequence that turn the camera some many times while following a giant beast. It ends with a boss battle.

Oh and I got a flashback from the original game. Isa is Saki's and Airan's son. Story is still easy enough to follow, but the story in the manual has just blown my mind.
