Prey was so good.  That is until the final missions where you just ran from one section to another and wait a couple minutes during horrible, unacceptable load times.  I’ve gotta dock a couple points for that.  I actually had a book handy to read a couple of pages during the atrocious loading times.

Finished Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition on Switch.

Really surprised at how much the Warriors gameplay has actually changed over the years, or maybe it's just exclusive to this version?

There's still a fuck ton of content here through the Adventure Mode so I doubt I'll be properly finished yet.

Hyrule Warriors is a much more polished than regular Musou/Warriors games. I can't speak a lot about the past games, but after playing Hyrule Warriors I dived into some of the other recent versions and none of them were near as fun.

Probably had Nintendo behind them whipping them into shape the whole time so it didn't turn out half assed.

Have you tried Fire Emblem Warriors?

System Shock didn't age well.

I have never played System Shock so I don't know. However, I have played System Shock 2 which has aged like fine wine.

I beat Metropolis Lux Obscura on Switch last week. It's a sin city like graphic novel thing with match 3 gameplay. It's pretty easy and also rather short, with 4 different endings to aim for. It sold itself to me because it shows bare tits on a Nintendo console, which, as far as I know of, is a first. There was also a back shot of a missionary position thrown in for good meassure. On Steam there's apparently a patch for more explicit stuff, but I'm pretty sure that won't release on consoles Nyaa.

Not a great game, nor a long one, but just enjoyable enough for how long it lasted.

I played through Arkham Asylum recently too....that game is still great. Definitely my favorite one they made.

Finished Kingdom Hearts 1.5 Remix on the PS4. Man, for a game that you would assume to be family friendly, they sure didn't make it easy. The last few bosses are just as much of a pain in the ass as any old school FF boss fight. Game still has a ton of charm, and it was fun to revisit it one more time after so many years. Now I can finally play Kingdom Hearts 2 for the first time ever, in preparation for part 3!

Good for you! One thing I know that's going to bother me about KH3 is all the Disney characters are coming from the more recent movies. Frozen, Tangled, Monsters Inc.... not the classic stuff. I just wonder if that's going to give me less of a connection to it all. Probably not.

Huh, I didn't realize that about the more modern ip's. Truth be told, I haven't really seen any of that shit. LOL

But as long as they do it well and the game has an interesting story that ties it all together, I'm sure it will be great. Really looking forward to playing KH2. Bought it day one on the PS2 and, because it was one of the last big PS2 games, I never got around to it. I was balls deep in Xbox 360 land at that point.

Dante's Inferno is obliterated.

Great God of War clone, but it never matches the high points of that series. And the difficulty spike on the final boss was fucking ridiculous. But it was a hell of a start...such a shame the "to be continued" at the end of the game never came to be.

Yeah I really enjoyed Dante’s Inferno as well. It’s a shame what happened to Visceral.
