Recently finished the story mode in Blazblue: Cross Tag Battle for the Switch and it was an enjoyable romp. I only know the characters from Blazblue and Persona 4 but the characters from Under Night In-birth and RWBY were neat and kind of interesting. The fighting mechanics are very fun to utilize and are solid. 8 out of 10.
Ass Creed Odypeen is finished. I have just purchased and started dabbling in my worst nightmare in digital form: Subnautica! Some of you have heard of it already, but think Endless Ocean + Metroid Prime + The Need to Fill an Oxygen Meter so you don't Drown = GREAT GAME that makes my sphincter pucker in fear the entire time I'm playing it...
Zelda: BOTW done at last! Great game. Possibly the most open open world game I've played since it literally just goes "Destroy Ganon".
I was four games behind on my list. Worms: Battlegrounds, Resident Evil HD Remaster, Holy Magic Century and Resident Evil 2 are added. I feel like playing more N64 and PS1 games.

My ability to beat games has severely diminished as Work got a little more demanding and being a caretaker got more complicated. Also games are too fucking long!!! I am in the middle of like 15 games, might as well save it all to start next year fast.
Finished World of Light mode in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and damn that thing just didn’t want to end. It took me 32:39:01 on Normal but it really felt longer. That was clearing all the fights and awakening all the fighters and getting the ‘True Ending”. Anyway it’s a great mode and I had quite a bit of fun with it although there are a few fights that can really test you. I’ve fought in over 200 online battles and there’s been some laggy ones here and there but it’s generally been pretty good for me. I have completed 92 out of the 124 challenges so far and have collected 926 spirits so far as well. Completed Classic Mode 14 times and really like it. Some of the bosses are very cool. There’s a ton of content and things to do in the game that it truly feels like the ‘ultimate’ Smash game. 9.5 out of 10.

How are you playing that?! Your fear! I am going to try it in VR, ahhhh.
Played through the NES version of Ninja Gaiden on the Switch. Such a good game and so punishing. Great music and the cinematic scenes are pretty cool. Can be a bit cheap here and there. All I can say is thank god for save states.
9 out 10.
I played that a little yesterday. Made it through the first level and decided that was enough punishment for a while.
What a terrible year for me, I'll do better next year. Edge stopped updating (where is edge) but im sure he won. Congrats Edge!
New thread starts tomorrow!
Unfortunately I couldn't get Onrush finished before 2019.

I think this may be the fewest number of games I've beaten in over a decade. But, there are two 90+ hour games in here and it doesn't count the time I spent wandering around in Breath of the Wild. Anyway, no complaints from me. Good fun year of gaming.
Long games are good for lowering the number of games completed in any given year. I blame them in part for my shortening lists.

The less said about online games the better. Oh, the hours I've put into Splatoon2 this year, and what do I have to show for it on this list? Nothing. NOTHING!
Exactly the same boat here. Just finished the flying Divine Beast which was pretty easy, but a great looking little setpiece. Still have Death Mountain's and it's straight to Ganon. Think I'm gonna try to beat it before the end of the year. Kinda in no rush right now.
