You know what it is. Japan's biggest current franchise, sells shitloads on PSP. Made by Capcom, number 3 was famously going to be a PS3 exclusive then shockingly switched to Wii. Still not confirmed for the west though. It's going to have 4 player online hunting.

IGN has an amazing trailer here.

IGN are hinting that there is a big online Wii game that is not going to use friend codes. So its the Conduit or this game. This could be really fun 4 player with WiiSpeak. Who would you be? The guy with the arrows, the magic staff guy, the healer or the massive sword guy? Axe guy? Woman? Small kid with explosive bombs?

I would be massive sword guy and I'm going to watch the trailer again. Happy

Did you watch the trailer? The only thing I'm worried about is that it could be like PSO, I have only played PSO on dreamcast, but in single player it was severely lacking. And you just sort of warbled up to monsters and hit slowly; because the game was geared to be played by 4 people online attacking the same massive beasts at once.

Oh shit, let's hope not. Not considering the kick in the asshole that friend codes are to fluid online interaction.

One post TGS complaint I remember is that some preview wanted the game to play like DMC. Instead Monster is about slowly wielding massive weapons. In the trailer a guy uses a gargantuan club to smash a dinosaur in the face and it goes flying back like a baseball. Awesome.

I hope there are proper single player quests and buying shit and upgrading and basically a whole singler player mode among everything else. And that they get their shit together and use WiiSpeak.

This game looks incredible. I've never seen a 3D game perfect a technoligical style since Skies of Arcadia.

One of the site's forefathers.
