Inspired by Leo's song post and me beating Nights recently I want a collection of the best original songs made for games. This is not for musical scores, these are songs with lyrics.

Sega made a ton of these back in the day (remember when they were this awesome), I have no clue where they found these people to sing this stuff but they made some of the best game songs ever:

This is some Disney level awesome.

It this doesn't hype you up nothing will.

This one is even better. Mario ain't got shit on this.

DAAAAAAAYTONAAAAAAAA!!!

No way to have this thread without Metal Gear Solid

Greatest game song ever? It might not even be better than...

Lets take it old school (cant believe this is old school)

Why the hell do no modern GTA games have this as the theme. This song is awesome.

But the best has to be this

So post your favorite songs.

Totally off topic but did you guys know Glados will be in a movie? She is in the new movie Pacific Rim, the giant mech robot vs Godzilla monsters movie. You can hear her in the trailer for the movie.

Oh god that NMH2 song is offensive to every single sense. I swear I can actually smell and taste it and it's horrible.

Okay here's a couple I like:

Persona 3's battle theme song "Mass Destruction"

Street Fighter 3: Third Strike - "Knock You Out"

Will have a think about this but off the top of my head I remember Beyond Good and Evil having at least several immensely hummable tunes which stuck in my head for days at a time

Rocket Surgeon from No More Heroes.

I was going to post Phillistine eventhough I find it offensive it is really catchy.

Does Heavenly Star from Genki Rockets count? I think it was originally in Lumines II and was produced by Tetsuya Mizuguchi.

SUPER MARIO MAKER LEVELS:

  • SMB Mix-Up! (1AB2-0000-0047-5A7D)
  • Storm the Castle (77BD-0000-00E0-A9C0)

Music topics always lead me to the same sad observation that with the exception of foolz, most of you guys have very poor music taste.  Try not to hate Nyaa
