Agreed. I just posted a link to that trailer in GGWeekly. They really do need to make that into a movie!

Oh and the rest of that Ubi conference was a disaster. It took forever, tons of talking. James Cameron was there to talk about Avatar the movie and the game, while interesting it was long winded. At least we got news that it will be a 3D game.

reflecting some on last night's microsoft conference, i think i have to say it was pretty good.  definitely better than anticipated (at least by me) and (i'm guessing) better than anything we'll see from the other two, but who knows.

splinter cell, forza 3 and that 2D metroid like game by epic looked really good.  alan wake's appearance was welcome even if the game is now revealed to be something much more traditional (since RE4 has rightly become tradition) than we'd originally been led to believe.  left 4 dead 2 i guess will be good too as everyone who got to play the original is raving about it.  the halo games are good too i guess for those who like them, i have only played the first.  a new metal gear solid announcement is always welcome regardless of platform.  i am hoping it's not exclusive as that will simply reak of the truckloads of cash thrown kojima's way.  natal was for me also on the plus side.  it looks impressive, and even though i have no doubt it would have never happened if the wii hadn't happened 3 years ago, it cannot be denied that it's taking things forward in a sense and there is some real promise there.  it remains to be seen if developers will deliver on that.

i would only count all the social networking, and multimedia stuff as, if not necessarily negative, then at least indifferent.

on the whole i'd say a pretty good showing.  if it wasn't for fumito ueda's game i think i'd probably be having second thoughts about which HD platform to get

I completely missed the conference but it seems like it was pretty awesome.  New Metal Gear!! Alan Wake gameplay, motion camera(snore), new Halo,L4D 2.  Looks good.  I just hope I don't get bummed out by Nintendo's conference.

I'm serious, somebody keep Cammy off the damn stage.  Maybe Bruno can land on her and put his ass in her face. Nyaa

How can you miss E3 man!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Metal gear L4D2 and new Halo were all teaser crap.

Bruno needs to not only land on Cammy's face, but to crap a little in her mouth too.

Charm Girls Club for Wii, they got little girls on stage.

Make it stop!

LOL I can't believe I slept through this amazing conference.

Somewhere over on gamespot a little man called Archie is having a heart attack.

And cumming at the same time LOL

LOL Indeed I was.

Anyway while I haven't watched it yet, I did keep up-to-date on it info-wise, it sounded like a great conference overall that perhaps got off to an awkward start. Lots of great games were shown, a new MGS game coming to the 360, and some very cool new things shown off ie. Milo and Microsoft's motion thingy. Hopefully this stuff will be put up on XBLM so I can download it tomorrow.

Edit: Little? Dude I'm HUGE. Nyaa

The hell is wrong with you people? It's E3 and you aren't watching the conferences? I dont care if your whole family dies on the same day, you make sure you post!

*shakes fist*

One thing that is worrying about the Metal Gear game is that they changed the tagline from espionage to lightning action. Sounds like it could be a slasher action game.

I'm on a slow video, I'm starting the Fight Night footage now.

No Mass Effect 2 for PS3. Sad

Why would they do that? Just double pack both games on one Blu-ray.

I knew Ubisoft were showing increased support, but I must have missed the Red Steel's between 2 and 21 Nyaa

You know Silent Hill Shattered Memories is what I thought Alan Wake would be like.

On Natal, if you think about motion controls on Wii so far, used in any meaningful sense. Other than FPSs the only games to really utilise them are Boom Blox and Elebits?

I've got a feeling they just wont be used that much. 360 games can take a long time to make too, a Wii game stretches it out for a year and a half on a good day. Unless it can be quickly integrated, how long will it be and how many Natal games are we going to see that aren't of the tech demo/minigame variety?

Oh God, I sound like the Wii haters from 3 years ago. We truly are in the Bizaaro Superman world.

My excuse for not watching the conferences is work.  I can't help that theyh blocked the video game sites. Nyaa  The new L4D game doesn't excite me very much, but I wasn't too thrilled with the first one either.

I believe Vader is gonna get his wish with the new Metal Gear.  It's trailer calls it "lightning bolt action".  Sounds like it may have more in common with DMC.

Since I also missed the conferences (due to stuff and timezone clashes), can anyone round up the Ninty and Sony confs?

Just look at GGweekly, all the news is there.

P.S. Nintendo's and Sony's conference have not started yet!

The Ubi conference is so weird. I remember a couple of years back they had Far Cry and a million other hi-def games and only like Babiez games on Wii.

The reaction was so bad the Ubi forums were mobbed and locked people out.

Now this year they have Anno, Turtles, Red Steel 2, Rabbids Go Home and they are publishing No More Heroes 2?

And the big draw for the conference other than Splinter Cells are their two big holiday Wii titles.

So bizaare.

Fuck Anno and the Turtles up the ass with Red Steel's sword wielded by a horny Rabbid. They showed Ass Creed 2. That's all that matters.

That's ok I'm getting caught up on the conference, well Microsoft's that is via XBLM. I've been checking out all the game trailers and stuff they keep putting up there to download and they're doing a great job of keeping it up-to-date.

Wow what a bunch of awesome games I've been checking out. Halo: ODST, Halo: Reach, Alan Wake, Splinter Cell: Conviction, Brutal Legend, Modern Warfare 2, Forza 3, Shadow Complex, Final Fantasy XIII, Metal Gear Solid, Bayonetta, and Singularity. All fantastic stuff.

This Natal and Milo thing looks very cool with lots of potential. I can't wait to see what developers come up with using this tech. Even that Avatar XBLA racer looks pretty cool. It immediately made me think of the Roadrunner cartoons when I first saw it thanks to the desert setting and artstyle.

E3 I love you! Now lets see some booth babes already.

LOL I had a shit ton of work yesterday. I'm still trying to find some time to watch the MS press con, although I already have a good idea of how it went and its notable announcements.
