Indeed. A man I used to work with wife died on Space Mountain. I never spoke to him directly about it but someone told me she was decapitated on the ride. I know it happened in the late 70's which matches up with the Wikipedia page, but looks like the story was dramatized along the way.
Florida is much more dangerous going by wikipedia. WTF are you doing down there, Vader?

He's actually the evil mastermind behind these killer rides. He's like the Joker in a Minnie suit.

That explains why he's trying to downplay the danger at Disneyworld.
No can't say that I do. But when my son was 3 he threw one of his Wall-E sneakers into a lake outside of Disney Studios. That was pretty tragic.

You didn't wade in to retrieve them?

No, he died a couple thousand years before Disney rides were built.

Did the Disney Secret Police drag him away into the underground tunnels and beat a confession out of him?

No, but they wouldn't let him take pictures with the some of the characters for a while. Apparently there's some Disney park rule that kids can't be barefoot when they take pictures with the characters. Eventually they comprised since he had his socks on, but they still made the photographer shoot him from the ankel up.

For some reason that sounds very Japanese.

It's probably to keep from offending a particular group. They do a lot of stuff like that. For instance, all of the employees, aka "cast members" always point with 2 fingers when giving directions and not just one because some culture out there gets offended by one fingered pointing.

I hope they don't point with the index and middle finger. Upwards. With them slightly parted.
Even by extension? I know one.
...
I am assuming that if Vader and Robio don't know anyone this thread is going no-where. But you have to give me points for ambition.
