I don't mind Cage myself. I wouldn't say he's awesome or anything but I've enjoyed several movies with him in it ie. Con Air, Faceoff, 8mm, National Treasury 1 & 2. Of course I haven't seen Wickerman or Knowing though.

Yeah Nic Cage used to be great.
But he must have a talent for picking the absolute worst films to act in these days, it's like watching Stallone or Bruce Willis in all these crappy movies in their bad years.
Ghostrider was terrible.
Wicker man was worse
Knowing is crapola
And I saw this movie where he could see a few minutes into the future. My God.
National Treasure is his best these days and that says something.

I saw that in theatres, it is indeed incredibly terrible. I think the computer simulation of the "super flare" irritated me the most, because it placed the earth about 100x closer to the sun than it is.
