No, he's emailed me with demands to buy his kids a $220 Playmobil gift. After I already bought him his $100 beanie hat. indecision

I'd tell him to lick my balls.

Did you read GG's reply, or is that just you're standard reply to fall back on in any situation?

LOL

$100 for a beanie hat? Does it have magical powers or something? I have never spent more than $5 on a beanie hat.

It's a ltd edition hat, only 100 in the world, that just happens to look LIKE ANY OTHER WINTER BEANIE ON THE MARKET that should cost $10.

He has no concept on the value of goods, no sense, buys a Rolex just because then never wears it. He doesn't understand that since he's continually breeding I have to buy 4 extra presents at Christmas and 4 more birthday presents a year too. Whilst his expenditure on me/the rest of his family hasn't increased one jot.

It's the only way.  Make an army of Minigigis who in just a couple of years will be demanding the latest Nintendo handhelds and iterations of Animal Crossing from their uncle.

Oh and I ordered this even though I hated the first one because of the impossibly stupid extraneous levels.  I hope what you guys have been saying about the sequel being more combat focussed will allow me to enjoy it more.

But that backfires as I have to deal with even more kids.

It's a sacrifice you'll have to make.  Haven't games thought you anything?  Strategy and cunning are no match for just spamming troops and swarming your foe.

Still playing Bayonetta inbetween SSBu.  God, do I hate those boat angel things.  Seriously, in a game about swift agile attacks and dodges, who greenlit the idea of having stagnant boats as ennemies?  Not only is the idea stupid, they also ruined my not-so-shabby run by killing me over and over.  angry

Also, did anyone buy one of thos attributes?  They seem pretty expensive.  I guess taunting to regain health could be usefull, but that would depend on exactly how much health you'd gain.

During my travels I met God and I drop kicked him in his face!

Bayonetta 2 is finished. The story was a sequel and prequel at the same time! Pretty interesting! Overall a much better game than the first. No instant death QTE, no stupid levels that go on to long, level have actual colour instead of gray. Cooler enemies ang greater enemy variety, the attack are also beter telegraphed. It looks better, it plays better. And Cereza with short hair is better than long hair. Will try to master this game.

Bayonetta is mah Queen!

What gray was there in Bayonetta 1?

The boat angels are easy as sin?

Nof for noobs. I was a noob in Bayo 1 from start to finish, and that was the most obnoxious part of the game. Looking forward to coming back some day and sailing past that bit.

You literally wreck face and pile on the easiest platinum medals and combo score. It's actually one of the few chapters Ben and Aljosa couldn't kilgore glitch to cheese me over on combo score. All their attacks are either telegraphed (the telegraphing in Bayonetta is fantastic, not even going down that path) mad hard, or you should have bats by now which means those behind the back missiles are a non issue, and it's one of the few areas where I dug using the old whip.

Like any of that matters to noobs.

The game is fantastic, it is missing the kamiya magic though. The structure of the game is very basic, walk and fight, very few surprises in between, the first one had more variety. Compare it to something like W101 and it is super basic. But the action is near perfect and that is why you buy it.

Wouldn't say the variety is the issue, and certainly wouldn't put Kamiya's obsessive love for Space Harrier and putting that in his games as a necessary positve.

But Bayonetta 1 built up to its bosses and made them feel special, and Bayonetta 2 has so many and feels like one big boss rush. Plus the entire final stretch of that game is like aped from OG Bayonetta, and Bayonetta is like this hall mark of crazy Platinum glory that wasn't really topped until Senator Armstrong's monologue (SO FUCKING GOOD) and the actual gameplay ending and cutscenes of The Wonderful 101 (WHICH IS THE BEST CRAZY THING EVER...maybe Killer 7 is better for the crazy part).

Otherwise yeah.
