Okay I just made my DVD player region free by entering a secret code. Man, that reminded me of the famous Street Fighter II code. So Nostalgic.
So I tested my newly hacked DVD player with The Big Lebowski and guess what?! It worked. So awesome, I will never ever have to watch movies from a Laptop screen.
I watched Dino Riders last night.
It's awful. I used to have all the toys.
Prior to that, I had watched season 6 of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. I've been watching through the entire series since I got the complete set for my birthday last summer, and I've gotta say it's really, really good. I had watched the first couple seasons when it aired, but couldn't really catch it after that, and it's much better than I remembered. That said, I place season 6 as the worst one so far; still good, but they pushed the magic angle past its breaking point.

Ravenprose said:I hate The Little Mermaid! It has nothing to do with the quality of the movie, though. I hate it because when my sister was little, she watched that movie every . . . single . . . day for months! And she'd play it as loud as she could too!
Under the Sea, under the sea! Darling it's better down where it's wetter, take it from me. Up on the shore they work all day, out in the sun they slave away. While we devotin' full time to floatin'. Under the sea

Gantz sounds like something i would like. what is it i never heard of it?
i watched the first two or three episodes of Mad Men (season 1) after a friend has been on my case telling me how it's the greatest thing since the sopranos and blah blah blah. so far i'm thoroughly unimpressed. don't know if it's worth my while watching on
Oh, I saw Night at the Museum 2. Suprisingly very funny.
It has a good natured sense of humour and warmth. Very watchable. Weird that Ben Stiller is the main character, yet the only thing i the movie that isn't funny.

There's really no spoiler-free way to describe it, as the storyline is fairly weird and complicated. Oddly enough, I'd recommend watching in English as the protagonist's voice-acting genuinely adds to the experience (though the best of it doesn't start until about halfway through the series ~13 or so episodes in)

Little Miss Sunshine is also good but i'm sure you've seen it.

It did suck didn't it. And the series was slowly getting better too, oh well.

I read all the books. Got into it reading books intended for my overseas cousins. Half blood price was a weak book, seemed like Rowling would have kicked things off after the end of the last book.
I can say that the last book is a fitting end but I hear warner bros are milking it for two movies.

Will check these out. And I haven't seen any harry potter. Keep intending to watch them all in one big binge.

Watch one in a later season. If it doesn't grab you what can you do. I think it's decent and I like the ad agency setting.
ah, the books are okay. My mother bought them to ship overseas to a cousin, I ended up reading the first book out of boredom and got into it. They capture that school yard spirit of being a kid. Not bad at all. The movies are okay, sometimes entertaining.
It's no lord of the rings though
