Control was not on my radar at all. Is it worth the full price or wait?

I don't know. What I can tell you is if you were interested in playing it, it's free on PlayStation now for the next two and a half months. if you don't mess around with too many of the side quests, the game can be beaten in about 20 hours or so. you could easily get through the game in a month. At $10 a month for PlayStation now, I would definitely say that's worth it.
On another note, the game pretty much flew under everyone's radar. It had a generic name, generic cover art, and overall kind of a regular plane look to it, which does make sense it once you understand the story. But with nothing to stick out, it's really not a shock that people missed it. Shame too, because it is quite good.
The Shadow of the Collossus remake is finished. It came with my PS Plus subscription and I did not realize it was a complete remake. I sort of did a speed run (for me, anyway) until the final collossus. They really spiked the difficulty with that one. Great game but really has no replay value.
16. Ori and the Will of the Wisps
A beautiful sequel to one of the better metroidvanias out there. The first ori was heavily tilted toward the platforming side of the metroidvania, dealing with a cool launching system as youu used enemies to propel you around. This game still has that mechanic but its taken a backseat to the overhaul of combat. Basiclally this game takes Ori 1 and adds a load of elements from Hollow Knight, shamelessly I might add. Combat is done with a sort of etherial sword and you gain all kinds of new combat abilities. The game world is about twice as large with many new gameplay mechanics to learn and use. Its very well paced, platforming segments are all very well done and the combat is actually fun to play now. I do wish the game would be a little harder, not so much in the combat which is still a far cry from matcing hollow knight but from the platforming which is all pretty simple. There are no real challenge areas for expert players like in Guacamelee or Hollow Knight. So what you get here is one of the most relaxing metroidvanias, a ton of fun with llttle to no frustration. Overall Score: 8.8
If it wasn't for Vader I could be leading this competition.
Look at me, I'm beating games again!
I'm about ready for a presequel run through. I didn't get far into it.
I beat Seasons after Fall a week or so ago on Xbone. It's a beautifull platformer with no combat, just light puzzle elements. It was entertaining, and not much else. - 6/10
Just finished The Outer Worlds. It was fantastic though I had some issues with the menus. I highly recommend this one.

To be clear, that's the Fallout-like game, not the huckabilly time loop space travel 'the outer wilds', right?
I'm finally playing another game (Resident Evil 4). I hope this goes better than Little King's Story considering my thumbs became sore right before I intended to beat the final boss. My thumbs are still a bit sore seven weeks later. Not sure if I'll ever finish Little King's Story.
By Miu Watanabe.
There is one super questionable thing about it though. There is a constant running text commentary from some of the characters as you're playing, but I can't figure out who the hell could manage to play the game and read the dialogue at the same time. Even if you could focus on those two things it wants, the text is so tiny it makes the font size they used in Red Dead Redemption look overwhelmingly large in comparison.

I would love to see LKS on the Switch since I did not complete the original game.
Control is finished. Really good game, with an excellent premise. The end really feels rushed though. Like they either didn't know how to end it, or ran out of time. I'm leaning towards the running out of time part, now that I heard that some DLC was announced for the game recently. then again, it looks like there's some post-game stuff, so maybe I'm speaking too soon. We will see.
