It's sickening. I don't know what to think about my country anymore. The seventeen year old walked right past police officers after the shooting, yet Jacob Black gets shot seven times for supposedly having a knife.
Depends on your interpretation, but they'll go to hell, be stuck in purgatory, or find it extremely difficult to get into heaven...though maybe not impossible? Either way, it's not looking good for them compared to your average joe. Whether there's a special place in hell for them depends on the importance you give to theologians and visionaries, as while there are some references to specific tortures, for the most part hell is just hell in the bible; totally unlike Dante's inferno, for instance. But I'm all for expanding Christianity to think of people like Dante as prophets, in which case they'll be drowning in boiling pitch, or something like that iirc.
To be fair to politicians giving the working class in America the middle finger, they kinda rolled over and welcomed the middle finger themselves. Not unlike how many black communities themselves campaigned for more violent policing. But I dunno, maybe it's more expedient than facing the level of violence with which America has historically suppressed labour movements, and police brutality is certainly not as bad as when the KKK served the same role.
I've been rereading some of this thread and can say that of these last 4 years, the clear high point in Trump's presidency has been #RakeAmericaGreatAgain. Still cracks me up everytime I read it.
What about the bags of soup...from the men in the dark shadows?
Vote and hope the shit show will be over soon.

I'd say we're more kind of in the middle of the bowel movement.

I'm with you on this.
I watched some of that “debate” last night and my god was that ever a circus, and Trump was the lead clown.

I don't know, it's kinda lacking in the relief and satisfaction of a bowel movement...

I always vote. Thankfully, Colorado has had mail in voting for years now.
Hopefully your votes don't get dumped in a river.
As for that 17 year old who shot multiple people: the republican reaction is disgracefull. It's OK because it was self defence? I'd rather have him be punched in the face than him shooting about.
It's bad enough that police officers snap every now and then, shooting people who were posing little threat to them, the last thing people need is for idiot civilians to start doing the same.
I'm also betting my money on Trump being reelected. I'd think people who are outraged will be more motivated to go vote than people with a semblence of common sence and moderation.
