You know, despite the patch, I just unlocked everything today... Don't know why it took so long...

What started as a sort of Metroid-Vania kind of idea, evolved into something I like to call "Bowser's Bombastic Boss Battle."

I'm not quite done yet, but I'm getting there. Don't know if it's been done before, but I --at least-- think it's pretty unique!

I had plans for something intricate like that too with someone chasing you ( if possible).

The patch still had the old method to unlock stuff but all you had to do was spam bricks or ground blocks for two hours.

Ummm... How do you ENTER the level codes?

I just followed everyone here who gave me stars so far and that's how I played some of their levels, but I don't see where to enter codes...(?)

There's a glitch in my "Bombastic" level where Bowser sometimes gets killed by a P-Switch change-over... Anyone encounter this?

Some make levels that actually utilize that feature. Bowser will not show up when P-Switches are activated. But if you walk away and come back after the music stops he will spawn again.

Enemies spawn only when they are just off screen or are in the same section of the map as you.

Travo I hate having to use the cape for flying  frown  I feel it's the one gameplay mechanic in Super Mario games which feels broken to me.

Really?  I love the sense of speed with it that the other flying power ups don't provide.  Plus, once you get into a rhythm, you can fly forever.

Yeah the cape feather is overpowered if you can use it right. Screw up? And you're pretty much boned. I still prefer the tanooki leaf

I too love the cape. Very tough to master, but once you do the game is yours. I don't consider it game breaking or unbalanced. You have to put in a lot time to really get good at it. Not too different from mastering other skills in other games.

Two things.  Why is everybody making puzzle levels as opposed to ones with honest to goodness satisfying platforming?  Mario games are renowned for the world's greatest platforming mechanics yet everybody seems to want to make puzzle levels all the time.  I know the obvious answer is, "Hey, why don't you make some platform levels if you want them that badly?"  Well, yeah ... don't got time to make.  Only tiny bit of free time, barely enough to play a few levels here or there ... so make me some great platforming levels.  Please!!
