I beat Shadow Warrior finally. Will reveal why it took so long on the next Game Under Podcast, which is recording tomorrow.
Also played through the developer build of Return of the Obra Din, from Lucas Pope, the guy who made Papers, Please. It's free and interesteing if you want to try it.

Tried the last alphs build of Prison Architect. That game has come a long way in a few months.
Started Life is Strange as my next full-time game.
Been playing Trauma Center Second Opinion on Wii and Zelda: A Link Between Worlds on the 3DS. Enjoying both of them thoroughly even though I think I found Trauma Center's DS version's touch-screen controls easier to use than the wii-mote. uPad would be ideal if they made a new one. Come on Atlus!!
Zelda is great. Have no nostalgia for A Link to the Past even though I played it on the GBA (in fact I don't remember it much) so it's not affecting my enjoyment of A Link Between Worlds negatively or positively. Just taking it at face value.
Started a few different single player games to see which one sticks with me enough that I'll actually put in the work to beat it.
1: Dying Light - Played for about 25 minutes, ugh zombies, the art is fucking yuck, and ugh....open world game openings.
2: Drakengard 3 - 30 minutes later, oh my god this combat sucks
3: Final Fantasy Type Zero HD - 5 seconds later...wait a minute, it says Final Fantasy in the title.
4: Monster Hunter 4 - Idkwtftd
I'm also playing Shovel Knight: Plague of Shadows, it is fun though some things are harder with Plague Knight but the bosses so far seem easier.
I have the most trouble platforming as Plague Knight. I am currently stuck in "Plague Knight's" stage.
This weekend I played the following:
Super Mario Maker
Mario Kart 8
New Super Mario Bros U
New Super Mario Bros 2
Played Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, a wee bit of Forza 6, and a wee bit of Super Mario Maker.
MGSV (still a long way from the alleged seppuku ), Plague Knight and GT5.

I saw you playing it. It's a good game with some nice bosses.

Yes, unlike the last two New Super Mario Bros games which have sorry excuses for bosses.

I can't get into the mechanics of Plague Knight.

I've only found them awkward in some of the boss fights, as you basically just spam bombs. Otherwise it's been effortless and they make a lot of the platforming a bit of a pisstake. What's your problem with them?
It feels awkward, the fact that the ball shit only has a certain amount of distance is more irritating than it is like this cool limitation I have to work around. If Megaman X can challenge me with projectile attacks that aren't butthole, and this game has the pansiest check point system (not that I care, I love Shovel Knight) so it's like fuck this. Holding the button to jump mid air just irritates me in a way since it feels so unnatural to me when platforming, a solid jump mechanic I'm cooler with.
More or less I wanted more Shovel Knight : >
I only did the opening stage though, but I asked myself as fun as that initial diversion in the main shop area was story wise, I doubt I really will care enough to fight the same bosses again, only with mechanics not as good as the last game.

So you're just shit at it.
However, not wanting to playthrough the bosses again is solid reasoning.
EDIT: Also, you have to actually unlock bombs that do longe range damage/have different trajectories so you're artificially limited at the beginning. And switching between them is a pain in the arse when you actually have them.

So it controls like doo-doo in comparison to glorious Shovel Knight, it's a retread of shit I already beat, and it has more contrived unlocks in comparison.
I'm going to chalk this up as a W for Gagan.
A whole lot of Halo 2 Anniversary Online.
I wish instead of making MCC, they had just remade Halo 2, as in all of its multiplayer and maps. Because being limited to a better version of glorious Halo 2, and only having 5-6 maps is gross. I had to humor the idea of maybe playing a yuck Halo 3 playlist or something.
