Mine still hasn't shipped from Amazon. I am guessing it's because of the shortages they have for the SKU which comes with the gamecube controller adapter. I don't know if I will have it for christmas

I got this game. I have the one with the GC controller adapter. Did not have time to play it yet, too busy getting my Pikmin army decimated by my incompetent leadership!

How did you get that? Apparently it's not getting released in Europe. Amazon cancelled my pre-order. Tempted to say fuck it and forget about this game as everybody here will be over it by the time I get to play it ... especially as I have also booked to get away for Christmas. Without the gamecube adaptor thingy it won't be much use for local MP as I only have one classic controller

I wouldn't despair too much, Bugsie... Smash is kind of an evergreen game. There's so much more to do in it than Kart, people may get quiet about talking about it online, but I'm pretty sure they'll be playing it for quite some time to come!
