I played a little bit last night, some time after you asked if any of us were online, but I didn't see anyone. Just played some regional races; mostly third place finishes.
Well, I've missed two message asking to race because Nintendo's messaging system is lame. C'mon, Nintendo, there's got to be a better way. How the hell does anyone know when a friend is racing? Worse yet, no one ever knows if you've joined their room.

Couldn't believe I won that many. When you're in first, you see an occasional blue shell, maybe a red shell every once in a while. In second, you get bombarded with every damn thing until you're stuck at tenth.
I noticed that as well. There were several in the 1300-1400 who I had no trouble keeping ahead of.
