Look at that ultra epic cinematic opening...that is the type of shit I wanted to see from Retro Studios on the Wii U man. It looks stylistically like something that would have come from the Gamecube days of Nintendo 2nd party epics.

The fact that the geography of this new world/universe is very similar to that in Xenoblade intrigues me.  Is it just a Monolith soft thing, or could this mean that we're once again living on top of some megastructure?  I really liked how you had this sense of scale and place while atop Mechon or Bionis.  It's also a lot more fun to traverse then realistic landscapes.

At the end of the clip if you look closely there is a huge character. Nice landscape in the game, I love Xenoblade, never expected to.

I thought Xenoblade was shit.  But this game looks fantastic.  I just need to see the battle system.  That's what will make or break it, and it's what sealed the deal for me and Xenoblade not being friends, well, that and the garish looking characters. (that seems to have been rectified in X)

I thought it's only fair to warn you speaking like that makes Iga angry.  Iga is some sort of robot ninja and self proclaimed god of Justice.  Also, he may or may not be the same person as Yoda who is a computer whiz and could remotely hack your computer and your 3DS.  Don't say you haven't been warned.

I have great internet, but I had to take the time to adblock every single one of those gifs to make this thread basically browseable, not fun.  Have the same problem at GS forums.  Apparently Safari, or something on this Macbook anyway, doesn't get along with big gifs.  I really can't wait to get a regular PC again.

Project X (Working Title) is the game I'm most anticipating on the Wii U; I just love the scope and sense of scale in this game.

SUPER MARIO MAKER LEVELS:

  • SMB Mix-Up! (1AB2-0000-0047-5A7D)
  • Storm the Castle (77BD-0000-00E0-A9C0)
