Updated with Timesplitters 2!

Still a fun game 10 years later. And also still not as good as Goldeneye or Perfect Dark 10 years later.

Better than PerfectDdark, not as good as GoldenEye.  Have you played the third Timesplitters?  It's even better than the 2nd, especially in co-op.

Not yet, but I plan on it soon.

Replayed Eternal Darkness.

Every bit as good as it was in 2002.

Last year I beat 40 games, this year I'll have to apply myself to get to 30.  I have three in my back pocket ready to finish which will get me to 28:

Saints4, Papo Y Yo and Retro City Rampage.

I updated with NSMBU (which I didn't bother writing up when I finished it), and Dark Souls

You didn;t find the back tracking to be tedious and the camera unforgiving?

Not at all....but I never did. I've always liked these camera angles in horror adventure games, and the backtracking was done in an interesting way.

^Fair enough.

Just beat Retro City Rampage, and beat Modern Warfare 2 this week.  Should be able to beat Resistance 2 and Saints Row 4 this week.  Not sure I'll ever beat Papo Y Yo, everytime I load it up I am so uninspired.  Foolz, I am up to the soccer field level just so you know where I am up to.

Soccer field boss battle? If so then you're getting close to the end. That's just before the finale if I remember correctly, which even you couldn't get stuck on...surely.

Well, beat Resistance 2.  Guess I'll play some Papo y Yo and Saints Row 4.  Open slather after that.

Thinking FPS on PC and don't know yet on console.

My average score on the games I have played this year is 7.5 (and that;s with four 10's in there bringing up the average).  Last year was 8.2.

Yeah, but last year you would have given Bioshock a 9. This year you would have given it a 5.

^True.

I beat a level of Papo y Yo. I think I'll do one a night then start playing through the PC FPS games on your top 5 FPS games of the generation while finishing Saints 4 on the console.

It's a shite game but it's quite short.  And after a certain point things just sort of happen in the last couple of levels you don't even need to solve any puzzles or anything.  I recommend getting through it as fast as possible then forgetting about it forever.  That's if you have the same masochistic streak I did for playing this game to completion.  Otherwise just forget about it and don't play another minute of it.  You have hundreds of better games

And with Chronicles of Mystara and the Mysterious Cities of Gold completed I have updated my list with 21 games finished. First year I've beaten more than 20 games in a very long time.
