Nickelback. That's the most average band I've ever heard and yet..... they were like the hottest rock band of the last decade. I suppose that says more about the sorry ass state of rock, but still they really shouldn't get to hold the banner.

This thread needs more controversy. All these things mentioned are commonly hated on.

I mean, Uwe Boll almost doesn't seem out of place. Come on guys.

Their careers don't baffle me, as you do get to coast at a certain point (rest on your laurels etc...).

Certainly they have been worthless for almost ten years now, beyond their figurehead roles.

Justin Beiber. Not that the careers of teen idols surprise me ever, but this kid was awarded the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal while dressed in ratty overalls and his ballcap on backwards. Why not Celine Dion? Why not Shania Twain? Why not Neil Young? Why not David Brockie? Why not James Randi? (Why not just about anyone else really)

QEIIDJM. Not a very good acronym to stick next to your name.

Blake Griffin.  This is one of the highest ratet players in the NBA?  For real?  For real now?  Girls scream and tear their panties and bras for him?  Seriously?  The guy plays like a shit-for-brains thug, bullying his way around the court and making flagrant fouls which are never called because he is a refs darling.

I was at the game of the Clippers against the Jazz in SLC (which the Jazz stupidly let slip after a 19 point advantage - but Chris Paul is a truly great player).  Seriously the guy is not a good player.  He is strong and athletic, nothing more.  And he is a dirty player.  Why is this guy such a favourite among fans?

Looks like someone who would be cast as the inbred psycho family in a Texas Chainsaw massacre film.
