I was thinking Assassin's Creed might be mine. I played the first one and had no interest to play Assassin's Creed 2, Brotherhood, or Revelations.
I do have an interest in Assassin's Creed III but I don't know if I will play it.

I too was crippled by the first Assassin's Creed. And I'm beiing irrational about not wanting to play the others until I finish that one. It doesn't help that I have the PS3 version which has tremendous load times (and massive patches).
You're missing out on not playing AC2, its like the difference between Uncharted 1 and 2, just worlds better. It's all the sequels and spinoffs that have come after that which has made the series boring. Play part two sometime though you will like it.
