^Yeah I tried RedSteel 2 and ended up with Tennis elbow after about 5 minutes.
I am physically fit in most aspects, but somethings my body can't handle and wagling is not one of them.
(So in that respect I am glad Nintendo is at least moving away from motion control).
Red Steel 2? Pfft, Boom Blox is too much for me at the moment.

Boom Blox is the worst for tennis elbow.

Thankfully I don't suffer from tennis elbow. Otherwise I'd be completely screwed for totally unrelated reasons.
I fucked my elbow from years of tennis and bowling. Therefore, tennis elbow at the slightest thing that mirrors that flicking type of action.

GG is that collage whats available at launch? If so that may be the best launch lineup I have ever seen. Ever.
Edit> EGM is bias now? I don't follow the news so good. I will now take their opinion with a bigger grain of salt.
That particular issue, has had a litany of complaints about it on the GAF boards from people who own it. They try and spin everthing into a negative like for instance: The controller feels light, therefore it's like a toy.

Seriously though guys just my thoughts, hope you guys love your system and have fun. The new Mario looks ok, maybe if you guys post nothing about things about the controller then I may look into one in the future.
I'm with you on this one (I think I am the only one here). I hate the look of that thing. I also think it is a complicated system to explain to Joe Sixpack. We've had two years to come to terms with how the U works, but really it's kind of complicated (only one person gets the real controller, everyone else uses your last gen controller and so on...
Why the U Gamepad is an Affront to Me
Godmode, check out Pros blog.^

Did you change the settings so you only needed small movements?

You guys give me a facepalm. It's like you either haven't read, or choose to ignore the multiple impressions we have on the thing.
1. It's light
2. It's comfortable
3. It's comfortable enough for long term 4 hours play sessions.
4. It's just like using a normal controller, your hands are just further apart which should be better on your wrists.
5. They changed the controller recentely, the back now has erogonomic handles
6. The sticks and buttons have been positionally changed to be more ergonomic, even though it makes the controller layout look less symmetrical.
7. It has a lip at the back to rest your index fingers on
Here are some hands on impressions from Gamescon or the USA wii experience shows.
" It seems to be a great controller, really good feel in hands, pretty light, screen quality is very good, touch seems to be very responsive. All in all I can't wait to take it home :-)"
"First of the controller: Smaller than I had imagined. Gaming seems comfortable with the button-layout. Games play well with it and just based on my feelings it weighs way less than my wired 360-Controller.
Display responds well to touch. Also really sharp, but, also based on my feelings, the PS Vita Screen is still "sharper"
Those people don't have my hands and thus whether they find the controller comfortable or not has absolutely no bearing on what my experience of it will be.
It looks horribly uncomfortable. It may not be, but most of the time controllers that look uncomfortable, end up being uncomfortable.
GG, no I did not change the settings on RS2. Thank you, I will check that out.

You lay back in your chair and rest it on your cock just like any controller. Nothing uncomfortable about it.

My penis isn't dexterous enough to handle all the analogue sticks and buttons while also holding the controller up. What if I rest it on my testicles?

I usually find the middle ground to be the most sufficient.
If have the right kind of chair you can lean back and use your taint. That's why we have it after all.
This is what I will be using.

The Dreamcast controller comes to mind. I never used it, but it looked to me like an abortion from hell that was bound to give you anal herpes just by means of holding it in your hands. It seems it was comfortable enough.

The gooch (taint)? I thought we all had a gooch because of him:
It's ugly, but the concept is interesting. It really does look incredibly uncomfortable, though. If it's as bad as it looks, then I'll probably never get one. Haven't been able to play the Wii in 1-2 years becuase of the control scheme.
