Such a magnificent game will definitely get some time. *barf*
If we're going to separate these podcasts in any meaningful way, we're going to have to start referring to the alternating weeks separately.
This week is Podcast B. I do think that the separation of North American and PAL podcasts is the best methodology as it is the best way to simplify timezones. Let's try to gear Podcast B to the NA podcast, Podcast A to PAL. It obviously doesn't have to be a steadfast rule, but it'll work better the more consistent everything becomes.
Relating to consistency, if you'd like to be a relatively regular participant on the podcasts, make more of an effort to be available to the appropriate podcast, PAL if in PAL, NA if in NA.
This week will work well as it sounds like we've got Steel in. Hopefully you'll make a triumphant return Dvader as well. I've a new headset on the way, so I want in.

Tell me to get back to rewriting this site so it's not horrible on mobileHomer, why do I sound like a cross between a Mexican and a Russian scientist?
Oh and you guys will all receive divine punsihment for not buying Little King's Story.
And Homer, I will post some fights video later today in my MMA thread.
personally i think it's much easier for europe to team up with NA in terms of finding a good time. i know that would leave too many people in one pool and too few in the other though ...
here's an idea ... why don't NA members mix it with both as they are the biggest number of us anyway. half of them are in the euro podcast, half of them in the aussie podcast. how's that?
There's no intention to segregate the podcasts, but increasing consistency is preferrable, and I feel this is the best structure. The reason to have NA as a standalone is directly due to the fact that there are enough members from the region to sustain it, and it's a clearly definable grouping without having to lay out "You here, you here".
Setting up EU and AU as the separate structures is possible, but neither is a full cast on its own. At least the benefit is that this maintains our usual setup. At the same time, this is a weakness because there's been no initiative to get that second podcast going, and having the stability of the usual podcast I was hoping to use as a fixture to get the second going.
I suppose in the short-term we'll see how everyone fits into the slots.

I use +14 for clarity because of the International Date Line. Because to use the 10 hour difference is to say that I'm 10 hours ahead yesterday, e.g. 12:00 in Melbourne Sunday is +10 hours (22:00) yesterday (Saturday). Much easier to consider +14, and tomorrow is tomorrow.

Thanks to Jamie, Yarco and Yoda for the last podcast. If ever there was a need for the crickets chirping sound effect that was it The Y's were clearly pretty tired.
When I get situated I can chirp in with my sexy movie-phone voice if such a calamity strikes again.

I wanted to include little random segments as a trivia for you guys. Weird or little known videogame facts. Like, after the WAYP segment and before the news, insert a small, quick set of two or three questions. Then another one in the middle of the news comments, when things get a bit idle. And another one before the end. Winner gets bragging rights and a nude pic of Aspro. Maybe we can convince his wife that it is for a good cause or something.
Questions should be weird, of course. Like "Which was the first game to accurately depict wang?" or some shit.
