Forget the shopping thing and trends, it's a lot of info for something that helps minimally.

I know that, but the progress bar has both blue and red colour in it. Which colour is needed to evolve a certain pin? I cannot tell that without looking in a FAQ.

I just met Joshua, the boss before that was weird. Can you avoid his attacks? I beat him, after dying half a dozen times, but I am not sure how.

Did you click on the Info 1 and Info 2 tabs in the Pins sub-menu?

More helpfully, if you go to gamefaqs they have specific pin guides that do not spoil the story: (the in-depth faqs section)

What day are you on?

I did check all the sub menu's and I understand how the system works, it is just not possible to see what kind of PP you need to evolve. No problem once I finish it, I will evolve the pins on my own time.

I am at day 2 with Joshua

I just looked up the total Japanese sales of this game.

It was hard to find because the name is  It's a Wonderful World over there.

Enough about that, the numbers are 192,955.

It probably did around 400-500,000 world wide.

How does that stack up for Squares more traditional RPGS on the DS? Like FF12?

I wonder if it beat niche stuff like Rocket Slime?

Just thinking about it, I must have over 30 square rpgs for the DS.  What a great system.

I only have 20 Square games for the DS then.  Thanks for those numbers.  So TWEWY held it's own. Pretty good for a new IP.

You know this game is made for handhelds. With each chapter divided in days and the days are pretty short if you just want to rush through them. They also make the only weakness of the game. Because you start each day anew, you always start at the crossing of Shibuya, you will keep visiting the same places multiple times. The missions to proceed do not have much variety either. This is really noticable when you try to play for hours at an end. It can get a little repetitive and sometimes it feels like you are not progressing much.

The plus side is that the battles are awesome, the customization is of the charts and the story and setting are interesting.

The downsides are indeed, the back-tracking and that crazy pins dodge 'em game.

The one thing which saddened me about this game was that it didn't keep its japanese title.  It's a beautiful world (or life, can't remember) is much much better than the world ends with you.  Still ... fuckin' great game

I think the title is good, and ... I don't want to spoil anything.

It plays into the emo theme of the game better.

it is good i agree, but IMHO the japanes title (which lest we forget was the original) is the better one

So far I have not met one Emo.

Phones is a jackass, but no Emo. Which is weird from a Square game, they are usually Emo city.

A question:

There is a blue noise icon floating around. If you touch it, you fight a nine tailed fox. I did eventually beat it, but it took ages. Is there a trick to beating it fast and efficient?

I beat the second chapter and are now doing the third capter. At first I did not like my new partner, but the idiot is growing on me.

There is a annoying flaw in this game. Sometimes you are ambushed and if you are not carrying your most powerful pins (because you want to level up some other pins) and you manually lowered your level, you are pretty much screwed.

In Xenoblade right before you fight a boss, you get the option to select your party and equipment. This kind of option would be really nice to have.
