Marc Ecko's Getting Up: Contents Under Pressure

Oh yeah, compeltely forgot about the rest of the title. Makes it much funnier.
So am I Bugsy! Lax custom officers ftw!
robio said:Yeah as I was thinking about it, you've got games like NIER. What the hell is that supposed to tell you?
If you want to go back to an old obscure NES game, what does anyone think the game "Nuts and Milk" is about?
And then there's just "Ballz."
Well, the Japanese titles for the two games do help make some sense...kinda.
Final Doom, when there's nothing final about it. Also:
Listen to Iced Earth and play Doom
Every damn first game that has a : and a subtitle. If its the first game it does not need a damn subtitle!! Enslaved, thats a fine name. But nooooo its Enslaved: Journey to the West, oh thank you I needed that extra bit of information. Lets go back to Halo: Combat Evolved, then the sequel removes the subtite, wtf. If you are going to use a subtitle name all games in the series with a subtitle so it all fits, like how Uncharted is doing it. Or the example in this thread, Marc Echo's Getting Up: Content's under pressure, I dont need to know that last part!
Imagine if our favorite games had subtitles. Super Mario Bros: Quest in the Mushroom Kingdom. Castlevania: Fight Dracula with a Whip. Mega Man: Ignore the Cover. Metroid: It's a chick and her name isn't Metroid. Resident Evil: Wow What a Mansion. Tomb Raider: Giant Boobs Looking for Treasure
The colon thing is just a way to get more influencing words to the browser in the store.
Bungie said MS Marketing made them add 'Combat Evolved' to the title, and for the same reasons it makes sense. "WTF 'Halo'? Is this about angels? Oh COMBAT EVOLVED. I dig combat, so combat evolved must be even better, sign me up'
I don't like it, but I can see the reasons for it. Also provides endless Comic Book Guy moments:
Mrs Aspro: Do we have a copy of Avatar for the GBA?
Aspro: No, we do not.
Mrs Aspro: I wanted to check it out.
Aspro: We DO have a copy of 'Nikelodeon's Avatar, The Last Air Bender: The Burning Earth"
Mrs Aspro: What's wrong with you?
Aspro: You married me -- what's wrong with you?
Enslaved has journey to the west subtitle, because it is based on a popular chinese story 'Journey to the West'.
