Have you done the other 80 hrs?

LOL This took me 80 hours. And I only did the Arena battles, Mages guild and Dark Brotherhood questlines. I'm working my way through the Shivering Isles and I might get into the thieves and fighters guild at a later date.

The main quest is nowhere near 80 hours. It's actually pretty damn short. And I'm thankful for that. Nyaa

Unless you're including all the guild quests too and larger side quests too. Then you'll get closer to that mark.

I did most major sidequests, the Knights of the Nine add-on, which is huge, all Dark Brotherhood and Mages Guild questlines, the Arena battles, and of course I fooled around a lot. For example, I remember doing a sidequest for an alchemist that wanted nirnroot plants to make exploration elixirs. I shit you not, I followed every coastline around every significant body of water in Cyrodiil (since nirnroot only grows near water) either on foot or on horseback, until i found all plants I needed. It was a neat way to discover hidden locations, which proved useful for fast-traveling during later missions.

Numero 12 is defeated.

"Dark Sector for PS3. I had zero expectations for this game, but in the end found it mostly enjoyable.  This is RE4 with mediocre level design and a gimmick, which is this glaive (3-spoked razor boomerang).  There are some slight puzzle elements, but mostly this is a fairly challenging over-the-shoulder shooter.  There is a cover mechanism, but you'll never have need to use it.  Better than average sci-fi story, nice controls and graphics. 8."

Onto Yakuza 4.

UPDATE:

"15. Tomb Raider Legend (12/5/11): First Tomb Raider game to play and beat to story completion (84% overall), in 5hrs. Quite a good game, even if the story is okay and some of the puzzles a little obtuse."

Finished Darksiders. What an excellent game this turned out to be. Great graphics, I totally loved the artstyle. The gameplay was a whole lot of fun with just a touch of awkwardness here and there. Story and voice-acting was ok with Mark Hamill being the best of the bunch. It was a bit longer then I was expecting clocking in at 16+ hours. I would very much like to see a sequel. Solid 8.5 out of 10.

Finished Donkey Kong Country Returns.  Great game.  Perfect update to the SNES Donkey Kong Country games but it's even better than those.  Retro >> Rare Nyaa

You and I both bro.  We shall do a gaming club pt 1 revisited.  I've been thinking about going back and finishing it for a while now as I was enjoying it for the most part while I played it.

UPDATES!

16. Back to the Future - Episode 4 (29/5/11): Kinda weak compared to the other episodes prior, and had to resort to others save games in order to finish the bloody thing. Can't wait to get this done.

17. Portal 2 (29/5/11): Currently frontrunner for GOTY. Starts off kinda slow, but good god, it gets better.

Just finished Enslaved today. Pretty solid game. It looks gorgeous and the story was done pretty well. Combat was ok but nothing great. Platforming was pretty much automatic. Kind of weak on enemy and boss variety. Not a hard game at all really and I shouldn't have any problem getting 100% on this one. An enjoyable game overall though. 8 out of 10.

1. 5th of January.

Killzone 2: Err, I got the last badge. Does that count as finishing online? No, I'm not going to play it for the six years to get 100,000 points. Nyaa

2. 1st of February? Early February? Late January?

Klonoa: Insane story, hilarious voice acting. Slow start, decent middle, but excellent last couple of levels. And the extra level is as insane as the story!

3.: 17th of March

Killzone 3: The campagin that is. It was better than 2's campaign, but not all that great. Solid. Julian Assange/Hitler/Stalin/Lenin---what a cast!

4: 3rd of April

Crysis Warhead: How nice it is to play a first person shooter with actual FPS design! And with pacing too! Yes, it actually leads up to grandiose setpieces instead of trying to stick them anywhere so that they all end up being boring. The graphics are disappointing, the gameplay is surprisingly good. Nice surprise. Oh, and being a PC shooter you can actually have enemies above ground level---ones that move and fly around! And the on-rail sections are even fun. No on-rails sections with analogue sticks please. It's also funny that this EXPANSION pack is the same length as most modern FPS campaigns. Yeesh.

5: 17th of April.

Mark Ecko's Getting Up: Contents Under Pressure: It's Arkham Asylum all over again! Solid gameplay, shallow combat system, but absolutely top notch presentation. Of course being Arkham Asylum from last gen instead of there being annoying updates there's annoying controls and glitches. FFS dying, going back to a check point, getting back up to where you are only to fall through the fucking floor. Of a blimp. Hrm

6: 19th of May.

Yakuza:

The first one! It's Yakuza, go read that twitter review!

7: 16th of June.

Babel: King of Blocks:

It explains how pyramids were really built. No slaves or UFOs were involved.

I forgot to ad 2D rotating octopus to the list and after that I can't remember if I've finished anything. I may well have.
