Just got God Of War Ascension WTF??? it has to download over 5 gigs of shit brefore I can play.. One of my pet peves with PS3 At least on Xbox if there is crap to download it takes a few mintues at most not a few hours.

You could always not update the game, that's what I do. (Press Circle).
I get the distinct impression that Sony is not going to get their network in gear for PS4. The blowback will be huge.

Got Super Mario 3D Land today. It plays like a Super Mario game designed for people that have never played a Super Mario game before. Meh so far.

I was also very critical of the game. Felt like super-simple bite-sized Mario for the ADD and smartphone generation. Very little depth. But I did play it until I got most every star and unlocked everything, so it must have been OK for me to spend the time to do that (the fact that I was on holiday with just my 3DS and 2-3 games must have also played a part).
