GT5 was such a disappointment. At least there is no question in my mind what so ever now that Forza Motorsport is the superior car game

A lot of folks like teh continued free dlc of GT5. Did that factor in for you? What about gt5 did you not like?
I did not buy GT5. I was an avid GT1 and 2 fan but fell off heavily after 3, so I am in the same boat, but would like to know specifically the problems with 5.
I really need to put some more time into GT5. I feel like I've hardly played it despite having it for several months now. I do like it, though. Forza 3 is great, but the interface and gameplay are so streamlined that it feels a little too much like an arcade game; GT5, however, feels so much like a sim, that it's often not as much fun to play. Perhaps I need to tweek some settings or whatnot.

No, I didn't put that much time into it and I gave up before I bothered with any of the DLC. It felt like hard work. I didn't like the whole, train a driver SIM aspect of it but the game kept shoving it into my face. I wasn't having much fun with it and I kept comparing it to Forza which made me happier in almost every way.

Yes, like you say. You just need to play around with the assists a little bit to find the right balance. If you have all the assists on it feels arcadey, but you can remove them gradually as you get better at it. Also in Forza all the events are fun, where in Gran Turismo it feels you need to work and grind really hard for the right to play any fun events. Maybe it's the japanese vs western mentality here but I just can't find a reason why I should put so much hard work into a game when I could be playing something similar and having fun all the way
I picked up Bioshock Infinite for PS3 today. I even got the season pass.

Have you ever saw it before? Its the same as the old Gamecube cover...classic. I figured I better grab this one now before its impossible to find new. I've been wanting to replay Pikmin 2 for awhile. Easily one of my Top 10 Cube games. Top 5 maybe.

Almost certainly, but didn't really remember it.
That's a great cover. European was different. Not as nice but still great
I decided to get a 3DS, but not until they release some new colors hopefully soon. In the meantime, I thought I'd start a collection.
I just picked this up out from under my couch pillow & who knows how long it was there with the note "Just because you're an asshole....lol" on top of it....this is why I love my girlfriend:
I recently purchased Fire Emblem Awakening, Crashmo, and Mega Man on the 3DS. I had to get the digital copy of Fire Emblem Awakening since I couldn't find the retail version in stores.
Yup.
