Generally that's how I feel too, unless a sale is being offered on the game that probably won't be matched in a retail store. That being said I made a one-time exception last night since it was the only way I was going to be able to get it at the time, and my friend is a Mario freak so he was practically begging for me to get it.

I really should have, but sadly he's one of the cheapest bastards to roam the face of the earth.

Yes I agree and DD are almost never cheaper from Sony, MS, or Nintendo. PC is a different animal though. Some of the best games are DL only though, so no choice on them I'm not missing games like Trials!

Picked up Just Dance Disney Party tonight. I just thought I'd rub that in all of your faces since I figured most of you have wanted that game for quite some time and would be jealous as hell.

After a great week last week, Wii U NBA, Zombie, Mario, AC3 Wii U and Nao Assault Neo. I just bought Dishonored for $25 shipped from Newegg so many good games. I was not going to buy anything this week I swore to myself, but after missing the deal on this at Walmart, I saw  it again to at Newegg and I had to have it.

Damn it it looks like Newegg screwed me the order never went through and they sold out SOB oh well I spent enough last week anyway..

Lord of the Rings: War in the North. Also Disciples III (a gift).

I just snapped up Enslaved, Rage, Singularity and Deus Ex: HR used from GameAccess for under $40. I used to have a policy of not adding too much to my backlog at once, but how could I resist grabbing any of these for under $10 each while I could?

On the flip side, I had to remind myself that I own the PS2 version of Okami 'cause I was a PSN wallet-refill away from buying Okami HD. Unless I receive a gift card or something for Christmas, buying a game I already own in another format, unless for extremely cheap, is a no-no.

I bought Lollipop Chainsaw.  I know the game is crap, it didn't get a single good review, but when I like a developer as much as I like Suda, I forgive their mis-steps more easily.  Now please make a new No More Heroes Mr 51

I also bought Mass Effect 3.  I now have the complete trilogy, yay!  I should try to play the first one of these days.

Yay games!

• Spec Ops The Line. I know it is going to be talked a lot in the story category of many GOTY podcasts so wanted to see it for myself.  For those not in the know, this is not your standard military shooter.
• Final Fantasy XIII-2.  Because at the rate I am going through the FF franchise I'll need something to play in 2023.
• Mafia II.  I liked the original, I tend to be good at open world games, so why the fuck not?
• Child of Eden. Because Killer Juan said it is just as good with regular controls.
• Uncharted: Golden Abyss.  I will be playing this in about 10 fucking minutes!  Yay, new Uncharted!
