Bought Deus Ex Human revolution.

Why the hell did I buy this. I didn't even play the first Deus Ex (beyond the tutorial).

I asked myself the same question after playing about 5 minutes of HR.  I don't see me putting that disk back in the PS3 anytime soon.

I thought Human Revolution was awesome. You guys should give it a chance.

I bought Dodonpachi Resurrection for 360.  I'm impressed by the selection of space shooters on the system.  Never played a Dodonpachi before.

Eh. Man the list is pretty weak. It started off so strong but lately it is just weird stuff. I think I will pass on this month too.

Yeah I was hoping for something better but I thought I'd give it a shot. I still have about 500 points left.

Just picked up the 360 version of Otomedius Excellent today for $20. An awesome find in the Walmart bargain bin. It's a quirky shoot 'em up by Konami similar to Gradius and Paradius. Never thought I'd get the chance to pick this up. Happy, happy. Joy, joy. Grinning

Yeah for sure there's a surprising number of great shoot 'em ups available for the 360.

Picked up the 360 version of the Devil May Cry HD Collection for $40. I really enjoyed the 1st and 3rd game but never did get around to playing the 2nd. Kind of looking forward to trying it out to see how bad it really is.

Tomorrow I will have this, even though I'm not playing it until the Nintendo Next comes out:

What if it ain't backwards compatible?

Bought three games I have no idea when or if I get to play:

1.

I have every game in this series.  I have played none yet and I hear that each one takes over 100 hours which means I may never get to play any of them.

2

I don't know why I keep buying these anime style fighters.  I used to love them in the 90ies when I used to spend my time (and money) in the arcades.

3.

This one, I'm likely to at least try as  I really enjoyed Tatsunoko VS Capcom and I held out on the standard version

Well, I don't feel quite so bad for trying Disgaea 3 and giving up then...

I picked up Xenoblade Chronicles today at GameStop/EB. Thankfully they had plenty of unopened copies there.
