Did you get the digital download version of Kirby?  The prices for the boxed version are crazy and have always been so.

Yes it was $12 during the Black Friday sale in the Eshop so it was a no-brainer. I actually had a boxed copy of it a few years ago, but I sold it before I got real far in it. I got far more for it than I paid so no regrets there, but I always wanted a chance to play through the whole thing.

Following Vader's lead I have also purchased Time Magazine's game of the year, Prune, for $2. I will give impressions soon as I know everyone is dying to play it.

Took an hour or 2 off this morning to wait for the electronics store to open up so I could secure a LE of XCX.  I had called around wednesday to verify which shops were getting what versions in and this was my best bet.  So I'm a bit early, park my car down the street and wait in it while I work a bit on my SurfacePro2.  20 minutes till opening time, I decide to get out and stroll down to the store...  Only to see that it opened up at 9:30 instead of 10:00 as I had been told on the phone the other day.  They had already sold out there whole shipment of LE's.  All 3 of them.  Hrm

So this is in the main shopping street, so I try my luck with some other stores, phone around a bit.  Some stores only had the regular edition, some had none at all, some didn't even know the game existed.  I start queuing at the first place I went to, thinking I'll have to be content with a regular edition, but try calling one of their other stores that does indeed only open at 10:00 and is about a half hour drive away.  after a lot of menu-navigating and being reconnected I get to talk to the right guy, who says they still have LE's in stock and who is kind enough to put one aside for me while I drive there.  Happy

So yeah, XCX LE get!

Then I visit a nearby toystore since I needed something for my son as well, and they hgave 3 LE's just sitting there, despite having told me 2 days prior they would only receive one regular copy of the game.  Hrm

And just to irk Leo I will now proceed to not play this LE version.  Nyaa  For a couple of days at least, untill I find the time to play it for a few hours on end.

Not me I have to wait until after 4 pm ET to pick up my copy.

I would order online but the last time I preordered something gaming related online was the Wii U and I didn't get it until 8 days after launch even though I chose the option to get it by the launch date.

Picked up System Shock Enhanced Edition for $10.

I didn't realize this game came out back in 1994....it basically has Playstation or Saturn level tech. Very unique game for its time. This was like Deus Ex and Half Life years before those games.

I put in 3 and a half hours last night. I'll give some detailed impressions later today, but so far it's quite good.

Loaded some money on my Nintendo account and bought some Wiindies last night.  Most of them because they were heavily discounted and had good reviews.  Hopefully some of them will get me interested.  Here's the list:

Fast Racing Neo

Nova-111

Lone Survivor

The Swapper

Thomas Was Alone

Stealth Inc. 2

Mighty Switch Force 2

Soon.  I started with something more familiar.  Mighty Switch Force 2.  So squirting water for the time being but I will get to ink eventually.
