Animal Crossing is a beautiful game if you haven't played it before. Especially now which is bug catching season.

Just remember the game slowly opens up over weeks and months, not in a day or days. Play it a little each day, instead of doing 4 hour marathons in the first week, although you can do that once you start building your town up.
South Park Stick of Truth arrived in the mail. I didn't even remember ordering it, but I'm pleased that I did. Why didn't anybody tell me this is like a Mario RPG? My favourite kind of RPG. So much fun. I really really hope the rumours about a new, (proper) Paper Mario are true!
I told people how great it was a year ago. Sorry, you must've missed it.

Edit: no, I see you commented.

No I remember you saying you were really enjoying it. Didn't remember that it was like a Mario RPG, that would have made want to play it a lot sooner. I'm loving it! Except I just realised I'm playing a censored version Apparently during the alien abduction section all the scenes with Randy getting probed have been cut off the European version in order to make sure the game was released in Germany. This sucks, I didn't even know about it, otherwise I'd have imported the US version... in fact I may still do that. I hate censorship, and it just feels especially wrong to have South Park censored
Mario Kart 8 Zelda DLC Pack.
Thanks to Aspro for the spare codes; I was one one code short without the one that worked.
R.I.P. Nintendo Club.

Hope this gets you (back) into MK8. Do you have the Animal Crossing Pack as well?
I am under so much stress from work at the moment that I just want to kick back and do nothing but play Mario Kart all weekend. Not going to but I wish I could.

Just this one. And it won't immediatley cause I've got 2 games to review, but after that I want to give 200cc and these tracks a proper go sometime.
I got Splatoon around 3 hours ago.
I picked up the Nindie Humble Bundle. I needed a break from old broken games. Of course what's the first thing I play? Whoa Dave.

None of the ones I gave you had been scraped, they all shoudl have worked. Anyway, glad you got the thing.

Couldn't re-register ZombiU and two of the other codes had expired.

It's my first Animal Crossing. I've heard a lot about it though. And you must really like bugs.

Maybe I'll have to play something else at the same time. Currently I'm still finishing off Fire Emblem: Awakening.

The first week you play for about 30 minutes a day, you can't do much more. Maybe you can scrounge about for bugs and fish to sell. Your first priority should be planting fruit trees, which you can sell for cash. Foreign fruit - gained from someone elses town online are worth far more than your native town fruit.
You also might want to start laying down tiles to make a path network. Use the same design for the paths, then when you get a decent path design from the Walrus or a friend you can overwrite the tile you used for the paths and it will all instantly change.
If you dont lay down a path and run on your grass haphazardly it will wear down and start to look ugly. Although it's effect is lessened in New Leaf compared to City Folk.
Picked up a few games:
Still need to play Persona 4 and I figured why play the blurry looking PS2 version when I can play the HD remaster on Vita?
This game looks really cool and it was cheap so I said FUCK YEAH.
Similar to Persona 4, why replay this on the N64 when I can play a better version?
